  • What is the soundbar model number?

  • 63.7 cm long doesn't sound like big sound bar?

    • Yep

    • Thats the packaging dimensions, so the actual sound bar will be smaller!

      • pretty sure they double up the two sections (left and right) so assembled it will be about a metre or so.

Looks alot like the ASB-0120 model from bauhn n others from picture, but dimensions n weight dont match

    11.5kg for a 40w sound bar ? No way

  • Is the Verve Bluetooth Soundcube out of stock?

    • I don't think so. I bought one not long ago. How big are these anyway as the package size seems overly large and weighs 6Kg, if you can believe that?

  • Also based on a power supply of 18v 2a you won't have much chance of getting to 40W.

  • Don't know if I would bother with a sound bar so cheap

For those wondering, the soundbar is the Thomson sb-501. I'm not finding much info on it from a quick google searchas most of the sites aren't in English.

It's far from great & it won't replace my home theatre in the main lounge room, but is so much better than the crackling speakers on my bedroom tv.

It has HDMI, Optical (which isn't mentioned on the Aust Post site), AUX & USB inputs and can be used as as sound bar or more like two traditional speakers.

    For $30 I'm thinking that it's acceptable.

    Thanks for posting Trent.

  • I'm tempted to get one, how bad can these be??? I have a Samsung Series 6 46".
