    Random question for anyone. Does anyone know where one could go to purchase old corflute signs?

    Need some for a project and wondered what companies did with their old signs after no longer needed them?

      Normally that would be thrown out I imagine. Maybe try some sign shops and ask as that might have old signs that were from reused a-frames or other signs. Print shops will probably have some also, either tests or mistakes that get thrown out.

        I figured that might be the case. I need some biggish sheets like 2m x 2m. I see signs all the time especially on building sites.

          Yeah at that size they would probably go so straight to the skip and I would be surprised if sheets come any larger than 1.2m X 2.4m. But I would call a sign supplier and ask if they come in that size and ask them directly as to obtaining used corflute (rubbish) from one of there clients.

      Hey, my recommendation would be to head into your local bottleshop - they get new ones all the times, but they are of a fixed size (it's about 1m x 1.2m). They get given new ones for new products, specific promotions, and just generally get them replaced pretty frequently.

      My folks own a bottleshop in Balnarring (VIC) and I grab most of the used ones, they're handy for a lot of things as they're rigid, waterpoof and easy to build with.

      Other option would be to contact the sales office of a beer brand, and see if they could set you up, as they would have hundreds left over every year.
