Is AirPods Pro out of Stock Everywhere in Sydney?

Planning to purchase one this week and realised most of the online store only have pre-orders now. On the Apple Store page, it says estimated pick up would be around 26th of Feb.

      I checked yesterday and it's out of stock across all Apple store, someone must've returned theirs back to the store lmao

      • No, Apple release a certain number to stores each day for pick up - you need to keep checking throughout the day

    • Good luck, ordered a pair for muffinwoman through Telstra Plus 3 weeks ago. Still haven't even got a shipping email, despite numerous chat reps telling me they'll be dispatched within 24h :(

              Spoken to chat reps twice, both times was told it will be dispatched in 24-48 hours. Maybe it's time to try again.

              • @Muffinman01: Update - got an email saying that it would be delayed by up to 15 more days.
                I jumped on live chat and they are insisting itll be shipped today, with tracking number provided, and itll come by Friday, or else I can contact them for a $30 credit on my bill.

                • @theguyrules: I still haven't got any additional communication since the last one. I jumped on live chat yesterday after leaving it alone for a couple of weeks, apparently my enquiry has been escalated and I'll hear from them with an update within 48 hours (not hopeful of this happening!).

                  Good to know they've offered you some credit on your bill, I might try that one if I don't hear any more this week.

                    @Muffinman01: Telstra finally admitted to me that they are on backorder. I'm not optimistic I'll ever get them, TBH

                    • @theguyrules: I had a phone call from them earlier. They didn’t say the magic words back order, just blamed coronavirus instead. I’m in the same boat as you, not expecting to get them any time soon :(

                        Sorry, they have just double check and the item is currently back-ordered. It has been stated that thhere is no stock for Apple Airpods anywhere as of the moment and the turnaround time for back orders are 2-4 weeks.

                        Me: I understand that. But it is still saying In Stock, which is a lie.
                        me: Can I cancel my order and get a refund on the points?
                        me: I'm not saying I want to do that yet, I just want to know if that is an option.

                        Yes, since it is not your fault that the item is back-ordered, we can definitely cancel the item and request for a Telstra Plus points refunded.

                          @theguyrules: Yeah they offered me the same thing. I asked if they had any ETA at all and they didn't, but promised to call me back in a week with more information. If I don't hear from them by then, I'm going to do the same.
