What Are The Worse Things You Seen in Backgrounds of Sale Ad Pictures

So I made a forum for getting dumb questions from selling something, I am making another one but instead of dumb questions, whats the worse things you have seen in the background of a picture/item people are trying to sell? Does it make you just skip over it so they lose a sale?

I often see gross feet because they take floor pictures.. super common… Why do they not just move their feet out of the way? Do the feet come with the console?
And one time there was food in the background and it looked gross.

Im sure people have seen worse items/things

Also why is it always bare feet? no socks or shoes?? lol

      • Why would you be wearing shoes in the house?

Serious note though, I do catch my toes in the picture and retake the photo.

Old dudes bare butt in the mirror in the background.

A swastika flag. In hindsight probably a good thing I saw that.

  • There is some kid doing the 'Floss' dance in the background on a recent ad

    • Is this the one for Suzuki?

There's also a Naruto Run cameo in that one…

A dog and a cat in the background for an item advertised as coming from a pet free home.

    • Cats & dogs are "animal companions", not pets.

      • If Iā€™m selling stuff on gumtree/marketplace I often put a picture of it next to my dog just to make the ad stick out haha. Works pretty well so far, well for the animal lovers at least!

        • I figure shoving a cat into the picture helps more that hinders.

The only people who seem to care are the "gluten-free OMG I'm allergic to everything crowd". I suppose it would be nice to buy a couch that isn't covered in fur and smelling like cat pee, but that's why you go and look at it.

        • The couple of times, I've done that , I've received 1 of those 2 responses:

          • "What kind of cat is she?šŸ˜" It's a 'he' and he's a dog.
          • "Does the cute dog come with the [insert item]?" No, my dog does not come with the rabbit hutch/rocking horse/ dollhouse/peppa pig books… etc Why would he?
