    Don't bother, there's nothing left in store…

Also, wasn't this posted about a week ago?

    • Sorry. I did do a search and couldn't a previous post. Perhaps deals are only available in-store?

      • Previous posts are Here

        • Thanks. I did look at that but did not see a previous closing down post.

@enemyofaverage: It's still legit, as your post highlights a higher discount than the previous post.

              @ash2000: For unavailable products though….

              • @Make it so: Still some scraps left in some stores…. Albeit, not much.

@ash2000: My local store had next to nothing over a week ago, and I bet they are fully closed today. No point having a website full of products and prices.

  • A few good things left like drone batteries

  • wouldn't buy there

  • Can't order online so in-store only, and automatic % off everything on website doesn't mean they have stock, good stuff probably gone already.

Don't even try online, they will take your money and never send the item and you will have a very hard time getting a refund!

      • Can't order online so in-store only

    • True

  • Wandered into my local store (Knox) last Saturday and it was already fairly slim pickings, thought managed to snag a few packs of batteries for super cheap.

Think when I wandered past again on Monday it was already closed.

Was there a week ago. There was nothing except a few unpopular items left. The website has heaps of cool stuff at good prices, but they are phantom products. Their map does not even work any more because they haven't paid Google either :)

Wasted 10 minutes trying to find add ro cart button because it said it was in stock.

  • Thanks to an earlier post a few weeks ago several stores with DJI Mavic 2 Pro and Phantom line were selling at 40% off.

    Thanks OZB

  • I bought the $200 drone from them in August then had an injury so left it sat - when I opened the box 1-2 months later the $140 lithium battery is swollen and needs replacement - never used! Tried contacting via ebay, the shop directly, email, etc. and useless - can't do anything!

    • What sort of $200 drone has a $140 battery?

        • Good grief….. That is annoying.

You do have a claim against the distributor if you can find out who they are.

Whilst unlikely, if you do still have a store open near you, you could present it for a refund.

I presented a $199 faulty mova globe to my local store and received a full refund last week.

          • @ash2000: I took it to the store and they called me back and gave me people to email at a company called PWC (liquidators) - emailed and no response. Messaged ebay seller but no response. There was mention of the distributer being Souther Models - I may have to contact them and see what they say…

            • @evanssm2jp: Well worth chasing, it's a lot of money and as a matter of principle you should seek a resolution.

              see what they say…

What they say and what your rights are under ACL are two different things.

Hopefully they'll do the right thing and offer you a replacement battery without question.

    • FYI if it was through eBay… Try opening a dispute… And then if they don't reply.. .eBay will get involved.. and hopefully help you out :)

Or if you paid via PayPal that's another option you could take…

Worst case… Contact your bank and inform then and advise you want a charge back done for faulty goods, advise everything you have done, and then wait a month or so … (Why this is worst case/last choice .. banks take forever)

But I would go via eBay first

Just letting you know that I ordered the microscope from last time this was posted and it was obviously a display model or a return. No mention of this on website and I've had trouble contacting them to rectify. Contravenes Australian Consumer Law but what are ya gonna do.

    • I ordered a microscope a couple of months ago, knowing they were going bankrupt. Figured it was worth the risk given it was about 75% off. Phoned the store to ask if they had stock (they said they did), but they were about to close and the discount would end that day. So I ordered it with free shipping. It was meant to be shipped from that store, but they sat on it for a week, and then said "oh, we don't have stock". So I got angry telling them they had stock at the time I ordered, and told them to get it shipped from elsewhere. This thankfully happened, but I was worried it would be "money gone" for a week.

      • damn it ! i should have hassled them when they made the "no stock" excuse when so many people "bought" the rasberry pi

  • Rundle Mall shop is gone. I wonder how many physical stores remain.

    • is the map updated on the website to show open stores?

    oh not this company again

    • Owner buggered up. Got taken over as well.

Still waiting on a refund from them. Item inside packaging wasn’t what was displayed in outside. Be careful.

  • they became very untrustworthy by the end, beware

  • However, to the OP thanks for posting.

  • so they won't send products?
