Guessing it's this one which is pretty good for free!

    • +2

More likely to be this one.

      • Are these all limited editions?

        • It’ll probably be back in 12 years’ time

Can we get a Lego mask build for the Chinese here?

  • +1

Cheers for the heads up. Annoying you have to actually CALL the store to register though!

    • +2

I just called in Adelaide to register, they advised no registration is necessary and the event starts from 11 am till 2 pm (unless run out sooner).

  • Hmm, need to call the store for more info? Why wouldn’t they just post it online?

    • +1

Why wouldn’t they just post it online?

They don't have a good track record for maintaining their website.

      • They usually use Sprouttix or maybe Eventbrite for these kind of things though

        • +3

The guy at DJ's that knows their Eventbrite password is currently on holidays.

          • @jv: You don't know how true that is …

    Is perth or cannington included??

    Cheers

Did you click on the link where it actually tells you which stores are participating?

      • +2

Some people would rather have others do everything for them…

    • +2

I had included the locations at the bottom of my post

    • just booked in the perth hay street store

      • +1

How did you book? I tried to call and do it and the lady who answered was talking like I was crazy.

  • +1

Called my store and told no bookings, just come in those days.

    • I've been told the same things when I call to book/register. I wonder whether it will have long queue, or slot filled up completely on the first couple of minutes…

      • The latter.

    • Same in Adelaide. No booking required.

  • +2

Reminds me of the chaos at some of the Toys R Us Make and Take events… Hope they have enough stock for both days!

  • +4

I wish they provide face masks as well.

  • Back to the actual post : any idea what time?

    • Depends on store to store. Perth Hay Street took bookings for specific times (of your choice — any time during opening hours Saturday or Sunday). I guess it sets an expectation of how many people [kids] are coming in, and how many sets to put aside. From the comments above though, each store seems to be different…

  • From talking to customer service, it looks like this is an ad hoc thing. No set times, no need to book, just turn up sometime during open hours.

  • OP…more looks like a red rose

  • Lego Year of the Rat toy if the other link didn't work for you too - https://images.app.goo.gl/ESax3sVtxrQsgjJ57

  • We are here at DJ Chaddy and both kids got the Rat Lego set with no queues.

    • +1

Same got it this morning in the toy department. Thanks OP.

  • Hay St extremely quiet. Collect from toy cashier and do in your own time.
