After downloading and signing up to the Merlo Coffee app, you will get 20 points which is used to get the 2 free coffees (10 points each).
Have checked with the folks at Merlo and confirm the app is only available to scan (for the free coffee or purchases) at Merlo Branded stores which are located in QLD.

Merlo have had the app for ages.
Previous 2 free coffees offer was a digital card in email for signing up in Friend of Merlo program.
Just need to use a different email address to sign up. Have done that.
Also got free coffee on birthday🎉

@INFIDEL: The previous post doesn’t say anything about an app, just a digital card. Could try and sign-in/sign-up to the app with an existing digital card email address and see if another 2 free coffees comes up on the app?
@ilovefullprice: The app was introduced to replace the digital card. I think this app replaced an earlier app.
I've previously signed up & used the app - so no benefit. So signed up again with different email - 2 free coffees👍

Checked Merlo emails - app was only introduced late last year. So hadn't used it.
But trying to sign up with same email or phone number as previously used is rejected. Just changed details & got the coffee points.

What a stuff up for existing members! Had to create new account with new details (won't accept my existing email or phone number), just to still use Friend of Merlo site. Lucky I had no points to lose & gained free coffees.
(Doesn't affect new members.)

The app seems to work the same as the Friend of Merlo card. Card can be picked up in store & registered online, or just do online.

when we transferred across to our new website we didn’t keep the logins from our old website.
