It is listed on the Shopback Cashback Buddy Chrome extension!?
The BONUS2000 flybuys code advertised on the website banner isn't listed on the Shopback site, so don't make the mistake of applying it.
It's not odd at all, they just don't want to discount too much
The crazy thing is, the shopback browser plugin asks to apply some codes, and selects this code to apply, but it isn't listed on the shopback site.

Take a screenshot and I think they will have to honour it!
As bongo007 states, the code is found by Cashback Buddy, and it actually asks if you want to apply code. Looking at the terms I would say that passes as being approved, as i cant see anywhere that states code must be on site, only "Use only promo codes from ShopBack" and "Promo codes or voucher codes not approved by ShopBack"
Lagavulin 16 is about $86 after cashback (assuming it is pre-GST price like Cashrewards).
Cash back from shopback at firstchoice does not include GST amount.
Dang it just yesterday bought the two JW reds for $70 on the 12% cashrewards deal. Would've saved enough extra money on this to cover the mixers required to drink it :(

I was thinking the same. How is it? I don't know anything about spirits really. Just read that it has great reviews though.

I took the plunge. Maybe I can get that one another time. I saw the two on The Scotch Noob. The Talisker is a little easier to get past the boss though.

Talisker 10 is a whisky from the Isle of Skye. This is peated whisky mature in American Oak barrel. There is nothing Sherry about it.
Talisker only use sherry cask in their distillers edition. Not the Talisker 10

$40 Is the cashback so get $40 for buying $200 worth but still only $40 when buying more than $200
Also I don't know if shopback bases cashback on full amount or minus taxes so you may need to purchase more than $200 tp get $40 back
Cashback on full amount. At least that is what I got last time. The total is $40 and I got $8 cashback.

Sorry for this daft query. Is this cashback calculated before the excise duty of alcohol or not? Reason being a 40% 700ml whisky or gin or vodka has to pay 24.04 dollars as excise duty - as of now. So is it that a 35dollar cheap bottle would only attract about 2 dollars as cashback (that's without taking into account the GST?) Anyway the excise duty is to go up a bit more from Monday!!!!
Don't believe excise comes into the picture. Got the full calculated (price less gst) * cashback% on my last purchase. Excited to have spent more on this one :-) :-).

Yes, I'm hoping the rep will clarify. It does pop up on the notifier but it isn't on the ShopBack page. I wouldn't buy for the 2000 points alone, the 20% will be worth more than $10 if I order, so I don't want to go ahead and find the cashback isn't honoured. I'll give it a while longer and if we don't hear from the rep, decide whether to order without the BONUS2000.

Just went to place an order. I thought if the notifier said BONUS2000 was available, it must be OK, so I clicked the "apply discounts button". It then said "trying BONUS2000" and the code was applied on checkout page. BUT THEN another pop-up appeared saying "There aren't any valid store codes for your cart, but we've got you covered with 20% Cashback". All too confusing.

Confirmation from Shopback? As in they personally replied to you, or the cashback has appeared as tracking? Tracking doesn't mean it will be confirmed.

Yep, as terms clearly state "Use only promo codes from ShopBack" which would include Shopback Buddy. Nowhere says code must be listed on shopback.com.au website
