Carl's Jr now have an offers app, with their first batch including a free cheeseburger. You have to sign up to access the offers. There is nothing in the T&C's about buying anything to get the freebie, but YMMV. The free cheeseburger is not available at the Brisbane Airport store. Not sure what the normal price is.

Other offers include a Small Famous Star Combo for $4.95, $1 Small Soft Drink with unlimited refills and a $24.95 Family Deal which includes 1 Famous Star, 1 Hamburger, 1 Chicken Fillet Sandwich, 1 Original Angus Burger, 4 Small Drinks, 4 Small Fries, 2 Sundaes and 2 Cookies. All offers end Sunday February 9.

    Also they have their equivalent of a small whopper meal on there for $4.95 which is very decent.

    So how do the you scan the voucher at the desk? I have the app and the voucher but there's no barcode or code. No barcode for my membership either. I guess it's not my problem but just weird.

      I thought that was weird too. It says "Redeem by presenting this voucher on the MyCarl's app". Not sure how they process it.

        I just showed them the app and they processed it. No way to mark it as used…. T&C's actually say "max one per day" so you could get a burger a day if you wanted until the 9th if you can stomach it lol.

    Carl's jr is some of the worst burger I've ever had. If you're in Vic especially there's so many better options.

      Reminds me of hungry jacks except Carl jr you get drink refills …eat at Carl's more be than hungry jacks for the drink refills ….burgers about same price …

      With only two oddly located stores in NSW (Bateau Bay on the Central Coast, and Glendale near Newcastle) I've only tried them once or twice.

      In America they were great value and actually good burgers too. They come to Australia and they don't have the same "magic" they do in America.

      I've been to the one at Bateau Bay here on the Central Coast a few times. It was crazy busy and super exciting for the first few weeks it was opened. The last time I went there however it was super disappointing. Pretty expensive compared to other fast food options and the food was kinda sad…

    Carl's Jr is the perfect example of just because something is great in America it doesn't have to be here.

    Prices aren't really competitive and the burgers are subpar.

      Melbourne has a great gourmet burger scene so if you are going to travel for a nice burger there's so many better options. Grill'd have some of the best burgers if I don't want to travel or if i want cheap and nasty there is McDonald's.

      Carl's Jnr doesn't have a spot to fill so they won't last.

        Grill'd…. Out of all the awesome burger places you pick a chain burger joint that is horrendously expensive and extremely average. Maybe back in the mid 2000s they were good. But there are ten other places I'd rather go to than Grill'd.

    Good grief, what is the app written in. Somehow the scroll is janky. That's so weird.

    I signed up with completely bunk details, fake email, fake phone, set my password as "password" and got the free offer. No voucher code so I assume you could just claim it over and over again.

    Just redeemed today. No need to scan any barcode just show them your phone and they'll proccess at the counter. Could even get away with showing them a screenshot from your mate app account. No way of verifying

    I've had Carl's Junior 3 or 4 times at Bateau Bay and thought they were excellent. It puts Mcdonalds and Hungry jacks to shame. It is dearer, but so much better!
    Especially the Guacamole Bacon Angus Burger. I also think their fries are way better than the other two. They leave the skin on and have a much fresher taste.

    I'm thankful I don't have one near me as that would be dangerous.

      I can't wait till we get Five Guys here. Recently has it for the first time in Scotland and also Berlin and now Carl's doesn't do it for me. I do love the fries at the BB store but

          Shake Shack would be awesome. Also I heard Inn and Out are great (West Coast burger chain). I think I need to spend some time in the states.

      Melbourne’s not far ahead with 1 inner city outlet and 2 suburban outlets! I’m surprised there ain’t more. I believe every store is franchised with no company owned stores, that might have something to do with it.
