Solar Quotation Not Sure if It Is Reasonable (South West Sydney)

I have been quotated $4,000 for below solar installation.

supply and Install 20*330 Jinko Mono panels with 5 KW fronius Inverter. panels have 25 years performance warranty, Fronius has 10 years warranty

How is the inverter and the jinko panels. It would be highly appreciated if anyone could tell me. Is it reasonable.

    An important consideration is also the reputation of the installer. A 10 or 25 years warranty on parts is of little use if the installer is no longer around

    Good hardware and that's a crazy low price.
    Aug 2018 Quote for 24x300w jinko and Fronius Primo 5kw inverter was $6290 from Soltek (Sydney based company)

    We went with Jinko & Zever for $3900 from Captain Green. Installed Sep 2018. It will have paid for itself by the end of this year. We export at 20c/kwh, 5x more than we use.

    You just have to worry about installer. (I'd love to know who it is)

      We installed we captain green solar in early 2018 and was shocking. Full of complaints. however YMMV install company was good but the contractor was a tool.

        The contractor was good and the install is of adequate standard. The bits you can see look fine, the bits you can't (up in the roof space) could be a bit neater (I do engineering audits for a job so I'm a bit picky. I'm mech, not elec so maybe I haven't a clue:-) ).

        After we purchased we heard a few horror stories so i agree that the subcontractor can be hit & miss.

    You sure there is no state subsidy built in as it is very cheap?

    Before subsidy in Victoria that would be $7k system. If you don't want to go Fronius then it is about $6k as the Fronius inverter is $1k more ($2k) than a mid range inverter.

    You would expect 6kW system to be around $5k - $6k (after STC but before rebates)

    Look into Bradford Energy. Might be more expensive but definitely quality.
