Yes unless you whitelist sites (which will be hit and miss) or disable it for using cashback. I just use another browser without adblocking for cashback.

I have been using this for some time with great success http://kablock.com

Open source and as simple as enable in Safari to get it going

    • Does it block youtube ads on Safari?

  • +2

IMO, better off using Microsoft Edge, enabling Adblock in settings and disabling acceptable ads.

    • -1

Microsoft do data collection and serve advertising. Edge is based off Chrome which allows browser fingerprinting unlike Safari or Firefox. This is because they (Google, MS) want to violate your privacy while spinning a tale for idiots about how privacy focused they are.

      You are very misinformed.

Disable data sharing in settings, don’t log into an account and use DuckDuckGo as default browser.

  • Hi all,

    Got a question.

Will this install on an iphone? (i'm an android user)

I'm asking on behalf for my girlfriend

    Thanks =)

    • +3

Yeah mate this app is for your iPhone and iPad

  • This installs on iPhone then you go into safari settings and enable in content blockers. Works perfect on my xr

  • i got this last time, im still getting pop ups and new tab opening on some sites..

  • Do any of these also work with chrome in iOS?

    • -1

Chrome cannot be made secure, unlike Safari or Firefox, because Google wants to track you.

      • +1

I don't mind the tracking bit so much as I do the OTT annoying ads.

  • I’m using Firefox Focus as a plugin on Safari on iOS. Any comparisons with that with efficacy and privacy?

  • -4

    It's a deal for Apple.
    But Apple ain't a deal.

  • Got it. I’m always looking for the best adblocking. Thanks!

How does this compare to Adblock Plus?

  • Will this work on a MacBook Air/Pro or only Phone and iPad?

  • +5
