Hey,

I've been looking around for a decent quality tool chest+trolley combo and was impressed by Supercheap's Toolpro edge series. They're usually way too expensive but they frequently have 50% off sales. I went in store and saw that next month's catalog has the items for 50% off but here's the potential catch - the ad has them together and says the "combo" price is 50% off but then also says the individual price is 50% off so you might be able to get one with out the other for 50% off but I can't tell for sure.

Please note the following: ToolPRO Edge Series Hutch Tool Chest - 36 inch - IS NOT LISTED on the sale, since it's currently ~55% off it might be worth getting it now and waiting on the trolley on the 19th if you wanted those two together.

          I have the 36" bottom and top.
          I rate them highly.
          Castors could be better/softer, but its not really a complaint, just a preference. Soft wheels means less rattle on old cement.

          When you first assemble it, it feels flimsy and i was VERY upset.

          However once you put tools in it, the weight straightens and supports everything and it becomes just as good as my mates snapon tool chest.

          Id rate it a solid 8/10 for the price in these sales (they're common).

          I would suggest getting a few bits of pine from bunnings and making tool separator beams though; they are purely draws. No way to keep your metric and imperial from rattling into each other if you wheel it around.

    I've got some credits expiring on the 22nd but i think i might hold off and put them towards one of these. I like the fluro ones and been pining after one for ages but after spending some time in store, these are the better cabinets

    I just got a set, real nice to use. The top and bottom have matching keys which I'm very pleased about! I wonder if it was just a coincidence or they pair them like that.

      Hi,

      I thought this would be more of a pickle personally. I went to bunnings when I saw the $99 Sidchrome toolbox sale but was very disappointed with the quality but for the price it's pretty hard to beat.
