Hi guys, was there a deal from Ebgames about trading in a PS3 + money for the original PS4 when it was launched?
If so, anyone remembers how was it?
Really want to buy a PS4 pro now but with the ps5 coming this year… feels bad

just wait for PS5 even to buy a PS4.
many will sell their PS4 at that time and hopefully you will be able to buy a PS4 for cheap price then.
Wait till the PS 5 has some decent titles released for it and for the first round of price drops/discounts.
Unless you really want a PS4 Pro badly, I'd hold off especially given the rumours of backwards compatability.

Kind of a late response, but what does that have to do with anything? They were asking if there was a trade up deal in 2013 for the ps4, because they wanted to know if its likely eb games will do one for the ps5.
Yes there definitely was, I took advantage of the deal and both worked at EB during that timeframe. I can all but confirm a deal for the PS5 similar and will be announced shortly after the PS5 has been officially unveiled by Sony.
Do you remember how much extra did you pay?
I 100% can't remember the exact amount but it definitely was worth trading in the old console toward the new one and that was without backwards compatibility. If the rumours are true and the PS5 is priced around the $750 mark it's safe to say you'll be paying approximately $500 after a trade of a Pro.
My prediction is it be something like PS4 Pro + 4 games + $359 = PS5
