          From our experience, Jinko are a cost effective mid-tier panel who have performed exceedingly well. No one panel is suitable for every customer. Some customers will prefer LG, Sunpower, REC, QCELL and the likes. Others would prefer to work within a budget and choose a reliable panel with a good reputation within the Australian market. Jinko is a perfect choice in those scenarios.

          We are happy to provide quotes on other panels and inverters if you would like!

      Rebate as in STC’s? This would include signing over any generated STC’s, so the price is the out of pocket cost.

      In that its solar panels and an inverter.. thats about where the similarities end..

      Fronius is much better than Growatt
      Jinko are at least 'acceptable entry' level panels compared to Akcome

      No idea on the installer quality of either, which is equally important

          Growatt is basic with software to match. Fronius is a market leader.

        My full setup has a 10 year warranty.

        I don't see how growatt or akcome aren't decent. They have been performing well with no problems for me since install and I don't have to worry for 10 years on a product that paid for itself in 1.2 years.

    Op, what are your thoughts on Fronius vs Huawei Inverter? Have heard huawei is better, whereas fronius is Australian and has great customer service.

      Fronius is from Austria, not Australia ;)

      I'm generally happy with my fronius - has been rock solid and on a good summer day is clipping at 5kW for about 4 hours.

      My only real gripe is the fan noise, it's ridiculous and being mounted close to my spare bedroom, it wakes up my guests in the summer time. If you do go fronius, keep the fan noise in mind.

      Thanks for pointing that out. What I meant by that is the following:

      Tier 1 panels are the recommended selection for any installation.

      But within Tier 1, you have the upper end, namely LG, Sunpower, REC and QCELL. The Mid tier, Jinko, Trina, Longi, Candian, JA Solar etc. Then the rest of the Tier 1.

      So when I was referring to Mid-tier, I meant Mid-Tier, within the Tier 1 panels.

      Can get very confusing I know! Sorry for any misunderstanding!

    Last year i got a 6.6kw system installed with Fronius 5kw inverter with Longi Tier 1 Mono Perc panels for $4,000 in Brisbane.

    Generated around 11,000 Kwh in a year.
