This is the best Sunglass Hut deal you will get all year long, especially if you are buying 2 pairs!

    Cashrewards has 10% back also!

    • +2

Absolutely. Also check otticanet as their sunglasses prices can be cheaper, have been genuine and customer experience has been fine for me.

  • I don't think Cashrewards works - it says cashrewards won't apply if using a code thats not on the cashreward website and it's not on there.

    • +1

It has worked in the past

  • +1

Don't forget 9% discounted Sunglass Hut gift cards via Suncorp too.

    • With the Suncorp gift cards can only use instore and not online so will have to bring the flyer in.
Well worth it if they have the stock though

      • But then you can't stack with cashrewards :(

  • I am looking for RB4323 644732 51

    in iconic is $175

    https://www.theiconic.com.au/injected-sunglasses-unisex-9448…

    Any suggestion?

    I couldn't find in Sunglass Hut :(

    • +1

      so they don't stock it..pretty self-explanatory..

I lost my raybans somewhere on my flight home after buying them on a black friday sale in USA.

Got replacements from pret, within a week from the UK, for $50 cheaper than the sale price I originally paid. Highly recommended. Also got a free extra pair of sunnies due to a deal that was on at the time.

      • Their delivery fee is way too high :(

        • damn, even with delivery mine was way cheaper. sorry!

  • Sorry guys but can someone confirm if Cashrewards will work on this deal?

I am about to buy now not sure if can get cashback or not :(

    Thanks

    • +1

Just do it - if it works it works, if it doesn't doesn't.

      • if works I will buy online if not I will go to their retailer and buy there :/

        • +3

Mine just tracked, but it's impossible to know if it'll get paid out since approval takes 70 days…

          Take a chance, live a little jesus…

  • Anyone know if this deal works instore?
Edit: probably should have clicked the link haha :)

  • Works on prescription sunglasses(private health fund claimable) as well?

    • +1

Sunglass Hut don’t fulfil prescriptions, they only sell the frames, but if you go in store, glasses that are prescription compatible usually have RX written on the label. If you take the frames to any other optometrist then you can claim a rebate on the lenses

  • Thanks OP
I needed new sunnies and just saved $75! Cheapest price I could find even looking around online.

  • I was buying mine from Italy for half the price, mainly Chanel and D&G.

Unfortunately I can't buy online, nothing ever suits me! I have to try sunglasses on! Definitely need a few pairs.

Can I just show this in-store? Might swing by!

    • You can, I just mentioned the friends & family discount. Person at the counter didn't even sight the code and applied it straight away.

    • free returns for 90 days anyway, if you don't like can always return

      • I'm probably still better off heading in, for some reason most don't suit me. Generally need them to suit a thin face.

    • Chanel is excluded from this promo unfortunately, and typically does not go on sale. It says you can mention this in store but you can always try them on in store first and then buy online if you prefer (extra cashback on top)

  • -1

Excludes Chanel, not sure if there are any other brand exclusions

    • Maui Jim, Off White, Celine, Tom Ford, Dior, Carrera, Olive Peoples … it's in the T&Cs

I always wondered how they come up with the list of excluded brands. According to wikipedia, Luxotica (the parent company of Sunglasses Hut) is the manufacturer for the majority of these brands (Maui Jim being the notable exception).

      • +1

        Probably based on licensing fees

      • Oh I couldn’t read that section properly, comes up really pixelated on my phone, just thought to point it out because other people commenting were after those excluded brands. It’s usually the designer that stipulates those kinds of exclusions and not the manufacturer.

Wow, took me way too long to find a link before realising there was never one in the first place!

Here you go guys, so you don't suffer like I did.

Not sure if you’re being sarcastic as the website is literally the first Google result for ‘Sunglass Hut’… but I’ll add it to the post just in case.

  • Just bought 1 pair and can confirm cashrewards works on top of the promotion :)

    Thanks for sharing the promo!

    • Tracking does not mean they will pay.

      • oh right, sorry I didn't know that! Let's hope.

Unfortunately after comparing prices, you can find most these around 50% off from overseas even solely off eBay

    I didn't look that hard either. :)

    • +2

I wouldn't be confident to buy a pair on ebay though…

    • eBay are full of counterfeits.

    • +1

Things that one should avoid buying on eBay (without doing much homework): Branded perfumes, branded sunglasses, apple certified accessories and Rolex watches at a "great" price, as they very rarely will be genuine. The list goes on. Not that it will always be the case as there are always some exceptions. Sometimes it's worth paying a bit extra for the peace of mind and also to ensure that you are buying genuine merchandise.

      • Latest releases are literally impossible to copy, it takes time. I have contacts in China, and they never have the latest editions.

Plenty of big sellers on eBay, in Australia and America.

You'll find the standard pricing for sunglasses in America is way cheaper than here in-store. Prices via Google various stores to eBay is basically the same.

eBay is also stricter than ever on fakes, people are pretty cluey and it's easy to get refunds.

    Ha hhhaaa haaaa hhaaa hhaaa

  • Shit yeah, just what I've been looking for. Just saved myself $82. Cheers

  • this is the cheapest most reliable guys. Otticanet is usually a bit dearer than Visiondirect and you can get this deal instore at sunglass hutt make sure the quality is good.

Ive had a few from Otticanet and Visiondirect that i weren't sure about. You cannot tell nowadays whats real/fake unless you guaranteed have a legit pair in 1 hand to compare. In fact i got my mum a pair of raybans last year from Visiondirect and the label on the box when they arrived was from a building in hong kong Sai ying pun just down the road from where i was staying in a hotel on a holiday in hong kong near Hollywood road. So who knows if Visiondirect is even legit.

Cheers op, got two. Tried to stack with VDAY but it removed the FD1 code discount though both showed as active. Paid $234 but Cashrewards only tracked 212.67. So no CB on GST. So a little less discount than I predicted. Still a great deal!

  • +1

Thanks for sharing. Can't believe my luck with this one, they hardly go on sale. Saved $82!

  • Anyone want to split an order in Adelaide CBD by any chance?

    • Why. I's free delivery for any decent pair.

      • The code is 30% off for one, or 40% off for two. I only want one pair.

        • Hey, bit late but yeah I might be keen to split in the Adelaide CBD … Still keen?

          • @aussiedogga: I had been using the no reply as an excuse not to spend any money haha. Yeah send me PM though, 40% off sounds good 👍🏽

            • @Chickenleg: Bit the bullet and grabbed a pair of Frogskins yesterday. Dammit OzBargain 😑
