DeLonghi Lattissima+ Nespresso Machine $422 (after $75 Cashback) + Shipping

50

Hi everyone,

I've been looking at getting a Nespresso machine for a while now and with this current cashback offer, I've decided to take the plunge.

DeLonghi have released a new Lattissima+ machine just a couple of weeks ago with a RRP of $599.
I went around to a few places this weekend and found they weren't able to do much price-wise saying it was a new model.

The Appliance Warehouse have it for $497 + shipping ($14.95 to Melbourne) and with the $75 cashback offer it makes it $422 + shipping.

Info on cashback offer:
http://www.nespresso.com/au/en/lattissimafathersday/
Valid for machines purchased between 15 August 2011 and 18 September 2011.

Here are some articles on the new machine.

I was looking at the Lattissima range for a while but read many reviews from Aus sites saying it made warm coffee and that Nespresso themselves said it was designed for Europe where they prefer warm coffees. This machine addresses that issue for Australian's and makes the coffee hotter than the previous model.

Mod: Adjusted prices accordingly

  • The Appliance Warehouse have it for $487

They obviously put up the price by $10 now that it was posted here…

    Website now says $497

    • What the heck, they upped it by $10 since I posted.
I guess $422 after cashback is still good for this machine though.

  • not sure this is a bargain. but I was at HN Marion last week and Im sure I saw this one for less than $400. They had someone demonstrating as well. If Im not mistaken they 2 offers combined (cash back from the vendor + HN)but again, I cant remember the exact price.

    • Hmm was it the Lattissima or the Lattissima+ machine? The older Lattissima machine has been selling a bit cheaper now.

You can tell the difference between the two machines by the side that the milk reservoir is on.

      • Demonstrator told us, this is the latest one and its cheaper than the old model due to the cash back from HN + Vendor. The Milk reservoir was at front right hand side. But I cant remember the brand as I was interested only about the free coffee during my visit to HN :D

  • I walked into MYER on Saturday and they sold me one of these for $500. Take the $75 cashback and you got $425 :)

    • +1

Are you able to post the receipt? My friend is after the same model and may as well buy in store for less after-sales hassles.

      • Agreed… ep, can you please post the receipt! Much appreciated.

  • How much are the pods for these machines? Thats the big question as you will be relying on them for the future

    • They start at 68c I believe and special limited ones come out every now and then for seventy something cents.
