Need the code for GOOLOO Upgraded 2000A if possible. Thanks.

    • +7

Wtf does the 2000A model start? Jet engines?

      • +1

"You can start your vehicles (up to 10.0L Gas or 7.0L diesel), Motorcycles, RV, tractor, light-duty trucks, mower, cargo vans, ATVs, snowmobiles, oil boat, yachting in just a few minutes."

        • +9

All at the same time :D

          • +2

@cyrax83: Don't underestimate having extra/reserve Amp power in these batteries.

I have been using my trusty Suaoki 1200A model for a few years now and has been able to start 4 as well as 6 cylinder petrol cars easily, but last week it met it's match.

Was helping out some German Backpackers who had a medium Ford suv V6 with a completely flat and my battery was 60% full, connected leads and waited 5-10 minutes and No Go.

When the vehicles battery is really low or completely flat, that's when you wish you had more Amps.

    • +4

Another +1 for the 2000A code please

    • +3

+1 for the GOOLOO 2000A too.

  • +2

How often do you guys need to jump start your vehicle? Or is it to avoid asking someone in that once in a blue moon situation?

    • +1

Correct - To avoid asking someone in that once in a blue moon situation.

Having said that I've used mine a few times, ride on mowers and vintage Allis tractors.

    • Quicker, smaller than a set of jumper cables and it can charge a thoroughly dead battery. Also works as a light and a phone/laptop charger.

      • +1

I was told these units don't deep cycle recharge car batteries. Can you confirm you've used it to do so?

        • +1

These dont recharge batteries at all, nor do jumper cables? they give enough current to start the engine - which then can recharge the battery.

        • Oh, you might be right. I used the 2000A version after it went on sale a few months ago. That worked.

    • +1

small enough to keep hidden away (e.g. inside spare wheel). charge it every 3 months. has come in really handy a couple of times for me but most of the time i use it to help random strangers! its also my secret backup plan for charging devices while camping.

    • +1

I've got them in all my work vehicles.

    • As someone who only drives 2km each way to public transport each day, My battery constantly dies from not getting enough charge.

    • +2

I saw someone with a flat battery at the shopping centre a couple of nights ago, and was annoyed that I hadn't gotten around to getting one yet.

A really easy way to be someone's hero.

  • +3

I would argue, other than to help other people or to charge your devices, a Bluetooth connected car battery analyser that you use with an app, is much better preventative maintenance. You'll know if your alternator or battery is going bad, long before you'd ever need a jump starter.

    • Link?

    • +2

Power bank jump starter can help other people, charge devices, act like a very long life torch, power other electronic devices (like air pump, fan etc) and jump start your own car (both if alternator is dying or if you left your lights on). Battery analyser does half of one of those. Sure its half the price and a good tool but quite different.

      • Meme why can't we have both? Meme

How would you connect it to those other tools to power them? Does it have a 12v socket also?

        • +1

You can! But if you're choosing, the jump starter wins IMO :)

        • +1

Yes you can buy a plug in 12v socket adapter about 10 bucks I think I paid.

        • It also has a built in 12v/10a outlet for such devices.

  • +7

GOOLOO Upgraded 2000A deal would be nice.

    • +3

+1 for the deal for the GOOLOO 2000A

  • Can it work on dead battery?

    • +3

Yep sure does, I used it on a completely cactus battery that had 10.20v left in it, put it on boost and the car started, the battery was purely there to complete the circuit to let me drive the car home.

      • Thanks for replying. Bought this b4 https://www.amazon.com.au/gp/product/B07FP6YQBY/ref=ppx_yo_d…, but could not recharge my car that been parked at melbourne airport for 2 weeks. Might buy this, Thanks OP

        • Did you try it in boost mode?

      • "worker" What type of car are we talking about? I tried to start a Medium Ford suv with V6 with my 1200Amp ( had 60% charge left ) and would not start it. First time it did not work as it's always started other cars that most likely from memory were not 100% flat. Maybe a dead battery?

  • +1

    Thanks OP. Got one

  • +2

I bought this similar https://www.amazon.com.au/gp/product/B07PRD8F22 (which has USB C, and is a bit more compact if you are into that). I had to use it to start my engine a few days after buying it out of a weird coincidence, but worked beautifully immediately no issues. Way better than a set of jumper cables - recommending to all my friends and family to carry one. Also been impressed with the standby battery life, which i assumed would be the Achilles heel of these things.

    • Nice unit. Try to charge it only to 80%-90% , and try to not use it below 10% as this lengthens the battery life.

You just need to recharge it a few weeks or month earlier, that's all, worth it for me.

  • I have used similar compact models as well as the bulkier version.
In my experience, the bit bulkier version is much more reliable.
Once fully charged, we can throw it in the trunk and forget about it until we accidentally drain your car battery by leaving the parking light on or something.

    SCA has good models:

  • A bit too late for this offer to come…had to be a normy and couldn't ozbargain it.

  • +3

if you post the 2000A ill buy it

  • +1

    Thanks BA :)

  • Try to buy these packs with LiFePO4 (LFP) cells in them.

Far more stable and safe than typical LiIon or LiPO cells. In particular inside a car that can get very hot.

LFP experiences much slower degradation when stored in a fully charged state. Much more stable at high temperatures.

For example typical LiPO, LiIon cells could loose 10-20% capacity per year stored in a fully charged state, perhaps even more at high temperatures.

LiPO and LiIon cells are capable of thermal runaway. LFP cells are not. Consider where you are storing the battery (in the boot, next to the fuel tank)

  • I've got a similar one that comes with pump attachment. Super convenient when you need to pump kids basketballs/footballs when at the park. Have used it once to pump punctured tire so that I could make it to Kmart.

Thanks. After seeing this deal come and go numerous times, finally decided to get one..
