7$ cheaper than Amazon right now, and 63.71 was the lowest DekuDeals saw before it lost Amazon price API access. Never been on sale at the eShop, where it is 79.95.

Amazon had a limited sale for 54$ 8 days ago that got claimed very fast.

Still expensive for a game that will definately drop in price over the incoming months

My main worry with non-nintendo switch games is that the physical release might permanently go out of stock before the big price drop. Or right after the drop, and I miss it.

Why will this "definitely" drop in price over the incoming months?

IP is half owned by Nintendo and therefore exclusive to the Switch. Bayonetta 2 still holds its price. Name any other switch exclusive published by Nintendo that has had a significant price drop (outside of clearance sales at Target).

      • Economics - Supply vs Demand

        • Do you follow Nintendo's price structuring at all? This game will maybe drop to $50 by Christmas this year. Otherwise this will maintain its value. I'm guessing you downvoted me due to a lack of a relevant example as well.

          • @Ninternet: I agree pretty decent odds it won't go below 50 before all the physical stock is gone.

Target or Big W might go a bit lower, but only once they're clearing the last few copies at clearance.

        • Nintendo, like Disney, manipulate supply to control demand rather than keeping the supply high and having price drops to account for having too many units. 5 to 10 years after release most Nintendo titles still sell close to their original price.

Was 54 plus cash back at the end of last year. Probably going to wait for that again.

  • I can recommend this game. I finished it. When this was released it was very hard to final retail i can tell you that much.

  • comes up as $64 :(
