My Brother Hates His School, What Should I Do?

So my brother entered this school in werribee last year and he enjoyed it. Fast forward a year and now he hates it. He says that the students and teachers are not serious about their education. So, what should i do?
he is currently studying for the Suzanne cory test but since he is applying for a year 10 position, things are bleak.
Not sure of any good private schools in Werribee that don't cost an arm and a leg [Westborne]?
He cannot get into a different public school because of his address

Doesn't 'your brother' have parents or legal guardians?

Has 'your brother' spoken to them?

According to the Suzanne Cory website, the test is held mid year for entry next year. So even if he were successful he would still have a heck of a longtime to put up with this year, gvenwe are just about to enter week 5 term 1!

Assuming he is applying for a year 10 place, that would make him year 9 now? I’m sorry to say, Year 9 is pretty bleak all over. My only suggestion is to check out Virtual School Victoria (used to be called Distance Ed). It’s unlikely he will fit the criteria but in the name of being thorough, it’s one more opportunity to investigate.

Lisa Simpson has learned to live with it, so should your brother

  • What changed to make him hate it?

  • Let your brother sort this out himself.

If he doesn't get into Suzanne Cory/MHS (lol), he can just pummel those mediocre kids in VCE.

If the Werribee school is as bad as you make it out to be, he can also apply to get a few bonus marks via the VTAC-SEAS program.

  • he should do the best he can with what he has got.
i think a private school is really good for networking
