Soft, Medium or Firm Mattress for Airbnb?

    1. Bears train fasted in the morning.
    2. Being a baby bear sucks.
    3. Lock your door, even if you are at the top of the food chain.
    4. Female human with light hair colour can get away antagonising the bears.

  Have just had a career change and am now working in the industry.. 75% of customers buy a medium mattress.
  number 1 statistically returned mattress: Soft/Plush
  Firm is usually only bought by those who prefer it

  Medium is your best all round mattress

    When I tried out my medium mattress in the store, I thought the feel was good. But I didn't realise how much firmer it would become once the mattress protector and fitted sheet went on top! I wish I'd gone for the soft instead.

    I was leaning towards medium. I have a plush mattress and it has ruined my back so I see why they're returned.

  Go orthopaedic? I think, I think, they don’t sell them as soft, medium, firm.

  Does it matter? I've never had problems with mattresses, only with the hosts so far.

  Get something like the Atelier mattress in a box that pops up here often.
  Cheap enough to replace every year or so when they get dirty/ stained.

  One mattress shop that I visited told me that all their mattresses were the same. Except the soft ones had a soft mattress topper, medium had a medium mattress topper, and the hard ones hard no mattress topper.

  You can get a soft mattress topper with harder mattress and leave instructions for them to take it off.

  I've met some people who prefer a hard mattress just sleep on the floor on a doona.
