An extra $100 of a Surface Go 4G LTE would be nice, just holding out for a potential slim bezel Surface Go 2 soon, fingers crossed its before cut off.

  • What to buy?

Note: NOT selling, just straight up for actual value

    • Yep same.

    • Wish you were in Sydney.

      • I can help you in Sydney, PM me

Generous offer, but I'm curious - how would that work?
Either you'd need to give a random person your credit card number or you would need to purchase on their behalf after they transfer their funds to a random person.

I’m guessing they mean meet up in person and do it together.

      • Meet up at Microsoft store in local location, and the card holder pays directly to the merchant, gets cash rightaway, is the way it will work.

Pretty sure the only Microsoft store in the country is in Sydney?

    • Ditto. If someone want to use in WA. I live SOR

      • Def not giving them my CC lol. Something along the lines of, they can fill out the details of purchase, then I use my CC for purchase. They transfer after

(oops commented under someone else's comment)

        • Just be careful as if you ever need to return it can be a huge hassle

  • Does the MS store do pre-orders? eg for the new xbox? It should be announced by the time this expires.

    • Excludes pre-order items where the release date is after offer end date.

    • Even if they do, preorders are typically charged to ur card only when they are about to ship. Most merchants wont even bother to do an authorisation when you place the order.

  • Thanks OP. Has anyone been able to double dip Amex offer with cashback like Cashrewards?

    • cant see why not, cash rewards wont know the source of the funds

    • Yes it will be fine with cashback.

  • Cheers, thanks all.

  • can we buy 500 Microsoft Gift Card – Digital Code ?

    • Great question. I would definitely see the use in doing this. The credit will sit on your account and you can use this in the future.

    • yes, done many times,
but only $1000 maxium account balance in your microsoft account.

  • wondering if buy from microsoft ebay is eligble - pay via card or paypal

    • Definitely not as i) it'll say eBay ii) PayPal is a third-party processor

  • Looking for entry level surface 2 or 3

But prices still a bit exxy for me,

Any ways to utilise multiple statement credits to get it even lower?
Might have access to student discount too

    • Buy 10*$100 gift cards on two Amex card because you can only use max $1000 and use the third one to pay for the rest of the machine?

      • So $300 off a $1500 purchase, that's what i was thinking…
