  • but wait if you are Eagle Club member which can be done by singing online

Do I need to turn on my microphone and use Skype or what? I think my singing will make them deliver the pizza for free to make me stop. :)

For a second there thought you were referring to EB Games and thought they might as well since their game pricing is such a rip off. Pizza might fit better in their business model.

  • +2

I wouldn't just assume this is better then Dominos delivery….

Last time I checked my stores still do 3 large pizzas delivered for $19.95…..

  • +1

Unlike Domino's, Eagle Boys also haven't changed their 'Cheap Tuesdays' price - still $5.95 pickup (traditional) for absolutely everyone (online/phoned-in/in-store/members/non-members).

When they first came out with it, Domino's countered with their 'CheapER Tuesdays' at $5.90. And despite Domino's being smaller in size, they've since upped their Tuesday price to $6.90.

Eagle Boys = fresher ingredients + better value all-round.

    • Sigh..

Eagle Boys Traditional Pizzas are $8.95 and offer a very small selection.

Dominos have a huge selection and you can easily get it for $5.95, sometimes less.

So what about if I want an Eagle Boys pizza on a day that isn't Tuesday? Today is not Tuesday.

Cheap Tuesdays are store/area specific, unless something has changed recently cheap tuesdays is not $6.90. But then I havn't ordered pizza on a tuesday in a long time, I do it for $5-6 when I want it.

Why not just use a voucher and get it cheaper then $6.90?

Eagle boys are 1 inch bigger and have a tiny selection of regular pizzas where you are forced to pay extra.

It sounds to me like you are a person who walks into a pizza shop and pays $10 when the ozbargainer walks in and pays $5.

I can fully understand someone buying from Eagle Boys for many reasons, but I don't see the need to pretend they are cheaper.

      • Prices vary slightly at different locations - traditional pizzas at most Eagle Boys' stores, including our local, is $6.95 for members (free 2-minute signup) and $7.95 for non-members.

While the traditional range may be somewhat limited, they also allow a considerable number of modifications to be made to menu pizzas, more than Domino's seem to.

And nowhere did I say that Eagle Boys were cheaper, but rather that they represent BETTER VALUE - there's a big difference. Eagle Boys use what I consider to be higher quality ingredients, and more of them, which is where the value is represented, along with the size difference.

By analysing it on simply a cost-per-pizza basis shows that you clearly missed the point.

1 inch bigger diameter amounts to a significant increase in area
        11 inch = 613 cm2
        12 inch = 729 cm2
ie 117cm2 more pizza or 16.9% more!
basically you get an extra slice..

i think you havent had a pizza in past 1 year or so what you are talking about.
FOR DOMINOS CHEAP TUESDAYS TRADITIONAL PIZZA ARE $6.90 NOW ON.

Wait. Is it "a large pizza will cost you $5 each, and they will be delivered, so you must buy 4 or more to make $20". or "buy a bunch of pizzas at whatever price they are, minimum $20 total, and then add an extra $5 for delivery?"

    • +2

The latter it seems like. The title is in some serious need of editing.

  • +4

BS - pizzas are not $5 each including delivery…

And I am not singing for pizza and there are no prizes

  • +3

    Wouldn't call it a bargain.

  • At the first glance - I thought EB is promoting $5 pizza
    Mehh….

  • …. i know the OP is written in english, but i have problems understanding it.. can someone tell me whats the post is trying to say? delivery = $5 = wow! or delivered pizza = $5 = wow?

what singing? is there a fat lady involved?

  • very misleading title…

  • +2

Pay $5 to get a minimum $20 order delivered. Crap deal, not worthy of OB!

  • +1

This ad was on radio today and I was under impression that they really promote $5 pizzas, until this moment. Very misleading.

  • nup. title is totally misleading.

  • I fail to see how this is a deal. So $5 for delivery is supposed to be cheap? A lot of restaurants are offering free delivery if you order over $20. Besides I can drive to my nearest EB store for under $1

Come to think of it, what happened to all the pizza deals that we used to get bombarded with? Come on Pizzahut!

  • duped

  • What a joke. $5 is just the delivery charge which is added to the order. Big deal! How is that a bargain??? Most restaurants offer free delivery anyway. And yes the title is very misleading.

  • oh so the delivery charge is $5?? GEEZ!!! BUMMER

  • Very deceptive title…

    • Also strongly suspect OP is an Eagle Boys Ryde employee if not store manager… anyone else get that feeling?

  • Very misleading title.
