"Sorry I am posting this deal from my iphone!!"

That's OK. You have my forgiveness.

I'd only be sorry if i was posting from an Android…

      • Why?

        • I think the deal was an ipod/iphone related product

          Doh !!!

If you want the link for the regular site and not the mobile site it is- http://www.logitechshop.com.au/logitech-pure-fi-anywhere-2-b…

  • Anyone had issues with the speakers switching off randomly?

    • +1

Yes that usually only happens when you have the source audio turned down. So put the volume on your mp3 player up and use the volume controls on the Pure-Fi to change volume.

    • -6

Yes, with an iPhone 3G it kept randomly turning itself off. Tried just about everything but nothing fixed it. I ended up returning it as faulty for a refund.

It's a pretty widespread issue with this model, see here - http://forums.logitech.com/t5/iPod-Docks/PureFi-Anywhere-2-S…

Bought the Logitech S315 and it works perfectly.

      • I use my iphone 3GS and have no problem. Great post got it for $80 at EB Games when they had them 60% off. Wonder if you can price match with OW and get a further 5%?

Stop being lazy & check the forum link instead of negging.

  • why is it m.logitechshop.com.au ?

Doesn't look like the normal page ?

    • +1

its the mobile site — doh

  • I see these on OzBargain every now and then, and am tempted to buy one, but it's still a bit pricey.
My question to those who own one: Is it worth it? And why?

    • +2

I bought it for $100 half a year ago from logitechshop. JB hifi are selling them for around $150 at that time.

      1. The speakers are far better than you're expecting from this little baby.
      2. It is extremely lightweight.

It's a good deal in my opinion.

Here's the thing. If you're like me, and your laptop tends to be on most of the time, then just go ahead and buy PC speakers instead (I'd recommend z-2300 or z-5500). My iPhone dock is hardly used now. The only time I use it is when I'm outside doing some DIYs or when I'm taking a long bath.

      • +2

It's a bit hard to take z-2300's or z-5500's to the beach or on school excursion bus trips. These have been brilliant for both. I'd say over 100 hours worth of use and worth even the $200 I paid for them a few years ago.

    • I like the convenience. Has upto 10hrs of battery life so can take it outside when I do BBQ, or bring it to the bathroom and so on… Also great sound for such a compact unit.

  • Yep I have a set - i got mine on ebay for about $110 maybe 2 years ago. They are FANTASTIC. Rechargeable battery that does last for hours so you can take to the beach / park etc. Speakers are great - loud and clear. I take them on wedding shoots with me to keep the bridal party entertained!

  • It says $160 following the Link?

    • yes..coz the deal just got expired!! sorry u r late!!

  • You can still buy this at this price from Logitech Australia on Ebay, same price, free delivery and they have 8 more available.

    I just ordered one.

  • And I only JUST bought one of these… wish I found this site a couple of days earlier! =(
