What do you think the best value PD cable with USB 3.0 is Clear?

  • Wonder how long shipping will take with the current situation in China…

    • I'm still waiting for mine since January 28. It's stuck in Guangzhou since February 14.

  • Will this cable function with a Lenovo Thunderbolt 3 dock?

    • +9

For Thunderbolt 3 you'll want a USB 3.1 Gen 2 cable. This is USB 2.0 so only really suitable for charging.

      • OK. thanks for your quick response!

  • Any deals on good lightning cables at the moment?

  • I thought any quality branded type-c can do PD?

    • +1

Good thing this is quality branded. Not all cables are created equally.

  • Will this work with my S9 quick charger?

  • Received mine before Coronavirus outbreak. Good value

    Thanks Clear, bought two :D

  • These look alright too if you have prime:

Anyone had experience with Fasgear, does data transfer as well which is handy.

    • That one is USB 2.0 just like this one, so it'll do data transfer but not fast. Ideally you would want USB 3.1 or 3.1 Gen 2 for Thunderbolt.

      • Ah right, got it. That's why they are that cheap:).
Really just want another one for PD charging for the powerbank so tronsmart would be fine 👍.
Wouldn't mind a longer cable Too

        • Both Tronsmart and Fasgear are same!

      • +1

USB 2.0 are thinner cables though, which is better if you don't plan on transferring data over it.

  • thanx got 2 and used the Shopback web extension to get an additional $2 bonus cashback

  • Will this support supercharging on a Huawei P30?

    • +1

No it doesn't. You'll want a cable that specifically advertises SuperCharge. Typically at 5A.

      • Thanks Clear. I have been looking for a while and struggle to find a long (2 - 3m) cable that supports supercharging. I have a baseus one but it's terrible and sometimes won't charge at all

  • Thanks for the post OP.
Would this charge laptop with USB C PD?

    TIA

    • +1

60w is enough for some laptops, if not it will still charge just not at max speed.

  • Can't see anywhere to apply the coupon..?
    Cheers

Click Proceed to Checkout in the cart.

      • Got it, thanks (don't think it was working with Paypal but logged in as turns out bought some stuff 2016)

  • OK. is USB-PD different from regular usbc cables?

    • All USB-C to USB-C cables should support USB-PD. Some are rated for 60W, while others 100W.

  • Will these remain at this price until Sunday :(

  • Anyone else receive their stuff?
Obviously has times and coming from China thought it shipped before shit hit the fan but maybe not. Cheers
