Wow, that RRP is huge for 100% Polyester, but each to their own.

..or the poor Bangladeshi Italian who put it together

  • I wonder where they make Gieves and Hawkes these days - pretty sure it was made in the UK but i know its been sold recently to a massive hong kong company - maybe China now.

Edit - Oh wait i stupidly didnt read the last line, manufactured in Italy.

    • +1

This post states Made in Italy.

Edit - I understand that there are the equivalent of 'sweatshops' in Italy as well.

It's 100% polyester. I don't care if it has actual, live hawks glued to the shoulders, it's not worth it.

  • all gone - shame (sarcasm)

  • Manufactured in northern Italy?

Horrible looking jacket. Who in their right mind would buy this?

    • Italians?

      • That's why it's on sale in AUS??

        • Overpriced international designers may seem quite appealing for the Europeans.

I have a hamd made in LONDON, Geives and Hawkes Shirt.

It is the most comfortable material and best quality. It has outlasted Van Husen etc 5 fold.
