  • hmmmmmmm ….yes pleasesssss 9.2 surround sound godlessness

    • +1

      11.2 for me… Front 5, mid 2 voice of God, rear 4, 2-subs.
But that will take a few years.

      • feeling my yamaha avantage 7.2 is so old now …..need a bigger lounge to fit speakers so have to buy new home too ….

  • can someone please tell me the difference between this and the AVRX3600H

    • Pretty sure the B is a typo. It's listed as H everywhere else on that link and only a H on the official Denon site.

  • B just means black. It's the 3600H.

  • Whoa 5.1 still does it for me

    Good amp.
But, I just wouldn't spend 2k on this JUST before HDMI 2.1 is out.

    • That's assuming you're going to be replacing or purchaing both the TV and source that supports 2.1 as well, and also assuming you're going to be using source material that uses it (hint: almost nobody).

Otherwise you'll get a good 5 years of 4K and Atmos goodness out of this unit before 8K and who knows what else reaches the masses.
