How to get root access to Kogan 55" Smart 3D TV

Not an interesting topic here anyway but would like to know from others here in the forum about getting access to root of KOGAN 55" Smart TV.

Tried few forums online however could not get much info to start off with…

I would really like to get rid of Android OS and few crap apps from TV and re purpose the TV.

Any suggestions/links appreciated.

they are kogan branded - they come rooted straight from the factory

    YMMV on the quality aspect.
    
    Kogan himself has said that "smart" TVs are a dumb idea, mainly because the "smarts" become outdated in a fairly short time. His preference is dumb TVs with a $50 Android box and buy another one in a few years time when it becomes outdated.
