Looking for a Better Price on DJI Mavic Mini Fly More Combo

Hey team,
Usually I'm pretty good at finding discounts and better prices… but this one has me stumped.
I'm looking for the Mavic Mini Fly More combo. Every where I look it's $799.
The best discount I can find is on the DJI website where they offer a 5% discount for signing up to their mailing list.
Which I think will 'almost' cover the cost of their Drone cover/care package… which is usually $59 I think for the Mini.

Any other leads on sales or discounts that I could use?
Not really keen on waiting for gift card sales, etc.

    I've been after a deal too even just the mini by itself. Hoping to find it sub $500 but no joy at all.

    I think DJI might be the Apple of the drone world where discounted products are hard to find.

      I was thinking the same thing about them being the Apple of the drone world.
      I guess because it's still so popular there's no point for retailers to offer a discount at this stage as people will pay full price.

      But even if there's no actual sale - I'd be keen for a "sign up for our newsletter and save 10%" type scenario.

    I know people who work in DJI distribution and the demand is far outweighing the supply so there will not be discounts on this item for some time.

    If you like the item, look at the historical best price on ozbargain and try and find that. I can say with a lot of confidence that it will not be possible to get this much cheaper for some time.

      Yep and thought the same - but that doesn't mean that sites have general 10% - 15% sales that also include drones.
      I'm sure it will be a lot more difficult to locate a specific mavic mini onsale than it is to find a 'good guys' for example that happen to have a sale that includes drones.

    Amex have a $50 cashback with Georges cameras (who price match).

    I got mine last year for just over $700 with a similar cashback and got the TRS refund.

      Nice! This is the sort of thing I was looking for…. although similar to the 5% off directly from Mavic.
      Unfortunately not heading overseas any time soon.

        Well done, we bought one in a B&M store kinda on impulse and the salesguy said nothing about phone compatibility. Was going to use it with a spare MotoG 5plus I had but it don't work (despite being android 8.1). It does seem to work with the V30 though but the weather hasn't permitted a proper test yet. :)

        Yeah there's a couple of threads going on the DJI forums, a lot of people unimpressed ATM.

      just checked the app store and it looks like an update was published on the 15th January that resolved the problem, i'm hoping that's the case because i have an S10 and looking to buy this drone.

    Just found these guys….
    They appear to have a showroom, so they're an actual store - which I believe means that officeworks should beat the price?

    This means with an additional 5% off you would get it for 730.55 from officeworks.

    However, if I'm working this out correctly - the DJI site gives you a 5% discount off full price.
    If that applies to the total cart (incl the DJI drone insurance cover) it works out to be about $756 incl drone cover.

    Doh! Just tried to use the DJI 5% discount and the terms say it isn't able to be used on Mavic Mini or the Drone Cover.
    There goes that idea.
    ….and doesn't appear that officeworks do the flymore package.

    Any other drone retailers that have the mini flymore pack do price beat?

    Very interested in this. I just got the fly more from Apple so I can test it out for 2 weeks and return. I’m very happy with this little drone so will be looking to purchase for keeps at a bargain price

    Tried to buy from Camzilla, but postage isn't included in the price - so it only ends up being a few bucks cheaper than regular RRP.
    Looks like this one has got me stumped!

    ok… got my drone… I ended up taking the Camzilla price ($769) into the good guys and they were more than happy to match the price.
    Thankfully they didn't consider the postage cost.

    Not much of discount, but still better than paying full price and the discount and covers some of the cost of DJI's care package.
