Samsung 75" 4K UHD TV UA75RU7100 $1599.99 (Was $2399.99), HW-Q70R Soundbar $669.99 (Was $799.99) @ Costco (Membership Required)

I stopped in at Costco today to have a look for the sound bar. I can't find it cheaper than this at the moment and am not sure how cheap it has been in the past?

The TV has been cheaper but seems like an ok price if you are in a rush.

    Don't you get a life time warranty from costco?

      • I bought a note from them and had it for three years. The battery failed and I went in and said I was not satisfied that a $1000+ product had failed. A couple of steps involved but ended up with a full refund. YMMV of course and had the phone been 10 years old they would not have helped me. Worth the prices of membership IMO.

    TV isnt that impressive either - I have it and it has terrible ghosting in live sports etc. Cricket looks like a guy hit 30 balls to the boundary.

    • Whats the OZB recommendation for a 65 inch TV? I thought the RU7100 series was pretty popular last year.

      • Its popular for an entry level TV - big brand, modern 4k TV - it does what it needs to. Dont expect to be blown away if your standards for TV's are high. Most everyday users upgrading from 5-10 yr old TV's will be more than happy with this TV.

    Don't be shy we all know you went there to look for toilet papers….

  • I have the same tv but in the 50inch RU7100, terrific tv for the price, don’t notice any ghosting and looks and performs great for my PS4 pro in 4K …

      is it selling in costco as well? I went to costco today and saw a Samsung 55 inch 4k 100hz ua55RU7100 and currently on sale from 999 to 844.99?

  • They had that soundbar on special at the Canberra Costco 2 weeks ago for $599.

  • $8000 -> $3000 -> $1500.

    And there are people who believe retailer margin is "about 30%".
