SolarKing lithium batteries are the future of battery storage. Lithium batteries are much lighter than traditional lead acid batteries and deliver unrivaled cycle life, more than 4 times more cycles compared to lead acid batteries.

  How does heat affect these batteries?
  A 100 Ah lead acid deep cycle battery actually gives you only 50Ah, is that also the case with Lithium ones?

    Work on 80-90% discharge for LiFePo4 batteries, as opposed to 50% discharge for AGMs. So 2 x 120AH AGM =~ 1 x 135AH LiFePo4.

  The price for a 100ah LiFep04 with 3yrs warranty is very good, seems to be a fair bit cheaper than other Solarking battery sellers on eBay.

  But that website! It feels like I have travelled back in time with no way to tell what shipping is going to add to the cost. It would also be nice to see an independent tear down of one to see what the components and build quality is like on the inside.

  These are LiFePo4, so much better than Li-Ion for endurance. Pretty good price too and I'm impressed Rockby is still around, I bought things from them 30 years ago from their ads in Electronics Australia and Silicon Chip magazines.
