Doesn’t feel like it’s that cheap..

I think I got it for this price before Christmas, but it's well worth it.

  • Good price. Played and sold my copy for more than this.

If I was going in for the first time now, I'd go PC and experience this with decent frames (PS4 Pro was okay).

Got a pretty much new copy of this on gumtree for $20 - played it for a couple of hours and then just faded away from it. Im aware its a slow burn at the start but its clear i dont have the patience for some video games these days.

    • Yeah I was the same, even when I had more time to play this I just couldn't get into it. The start of it was too boring for me and just lost interest.

Yeah, fair. I played 4-5hrs at release and the combination of slow plotting and a complex control scheme, along with a busy life, made this inaccessible for me. Came back to it six months later and sunk into it, let it take me. You're rewarded soon enough if you do.

But still a Rockstar game. Plenty of faults to speak of.

        • Probably because I never really got into Rockstar games I suppose. Even if I gave it another shot I doubt I'd get that into it. I can see why people like these games but yeah, not my cup of tea

    • Same.

Same here - boring as….traded it for GTA5 - MUCH BETTER!

      • That's subjective. I'm playing GTA V right now, and the first couple of hours were downright boring for me. I had to push myself as it just felt like GTA IV. It's getting better now though.

      • GTA V is even more boring in the initial hours

    • Yeah I felt like I had to force myself to beat it, it was such a chore.

It's a shame, because I want great Western games. A solid third-person Action-Adventure like Uncharted/Tomb Raider would be epic.

Call of Juarez were a massive guilty pleasure for me too.

      • GUN on PS2 was a favourite of mine.

      • Did you feel that RDR1 was also a chore?

    • Same thing happened to me with Red dead 1. Started playing but lost the plot after a few hours. Great game with Incredible graphics but i usually like games with a good main story and missions. I am hesitant to buy Red dead 2.

Wake me up when it's $29 or less.

if you haven't played it yet you don't deserve to start now

      you nerd!

Is gaming elitism a thing now?

      • +2

No one is elite in here it's not PC Masterrace.

    • Games should be removed and banned from sale 1 year after they come out, letting only early adopters keep playing? The entire industry would die.

    A bonefide classic.

Mad respect for Rockstar being able to keep the value of their games this high.
