Quick search shows this is cheapest it's ever been? Last and only deal was for $399, closest competitor is Bing Lee at $388. Showing retail price of $599 at good guys and jb hifi.

Never used this, but seems to be a good deal, I have never had a bad dyson product. Anyone with hands on experience care to chime in?

  Had the model before this, Dc54 I think it was, the bolt on the front of the motor came off and got stuck in the 'fins' started smoking and that was the end of it. Lasted about 3 years. Buy a Meile.

  Ive had a dyson ball vac for years and its still working fine. We have floorboards and get a lot of dust so its good for that.
