In my opinion, the best competitive deathmatch party game around! 6 player archery deathmatch (free for all or team-based), with some co-op content as well (to be honest I’ve never even bothered with that!).

The classic archery party game from the creators of Celeste, featuring Switch-exclusive 6-player battles and more!

TowerFall is the ultimate version of the beloved archery combat/party game, featuring all of the content from Ascension and Dark World, and several Switch-exclusive additions!

Two of THE BEST games you can buy for your Switch, in my opinion! Highly highly recommended, if you haven’t tried them! :)

Note: They have both been given away for free on other platforms, so you might want to check you don’t own them already. (But I’d say TowerFall would still be worth it, if you have a lot of joycons and play multiplayer party games on your Switch! It’s 6-player on Switch, but only 4-player on other platforms, unless you buy the stand-alone 8-player mod for PC.)

      Some game levels are procedurally generated - good in the sense of infinite variety, but generally lower quality than levels specifically designed for a purpose.

    Celeste is absolutely fantastic. I ignored it for a while but man I'm glad I finally played it.

      Second this, I loved Celeste and I usually don't like platformers. Levels were difficult at times but never too punishing because you'd never have to restart the stage.

    Tower fall is a fantastic couch coop, had a lot of fun killing my friends (and getting killed) on it. It is easy to start but hard to master due to the eventual mind games comes to play.

      The brief co-op story is great too. Good, captivating few hours to be had with a group of friends.

      Yep, definitely the kind of game you'd have to play with people that enjoy playing games, bit difficult to grasp for the average family member.

    Towerfall is missing local wireless multiplayer. So you can’t play with friends, each on your own device. Very frustrating for what should be a perfect multiplayer game.
