Don’t do it. Their blades quality have dropped significantly and they don’t seem to care about all the customer complaints online. Blades were barely lasting 3 months and were not cheap.

  What would you recommend? Genuinely interested as need to replace my existing shaver which (pure coincidence) happens to be this exact model. It's started intermittently rattling and making loud screeching noise that literally wakes up the whole house in the morning when I'm shaving :/ I've reseated every component and can't fix it so it's going in the e-waste bin…

    I went to a foil Braun shaver and it was doing much better than the Philips. Philips do not seem to care about quality any more.

    phillips used to be good, specially the 'bargain' phillips ones are absolute trash

I've had this shaver for 5 months, still great. I have the base station and use the clean function every couple of days.
