  • Any reviews on these?

The lady looks happy enough with them.

    • 60 days return don’t forget

  • These active noise cancelling? I couldn't wear the Bose ones as hurt my ears. Too much pressure

    • +2

Imo bose is one of the most comfortable headphones. Have you tried low noise cancelling setting.

You get used to the feeling

      • Yep. Felt sick a lot of pressure like scuba diving. Very weird sensation.

A bit more expensive than usual Taotronic/Srhythm deals and those have longer playtime with ANC on.

    • My thoughts too. Hard to get excited about them with only 15 hours battery life compared to the Taotronics options.

  • Are wireless headphones good enough for Netflix without everything being OOS?

    • +1

      What's OOS ?

      • Out of sync.

      • Out of sync I imagine.

If so - I have a pair of Sony WH-1000XM2s that I use with my phone, tablet and computer for watching video and don't really notice anything unless the video was bad to begin with. They get a bit stuttery with my computer but that could be because the computer has a cheap $15 nano bluetooth dongle more than anything.

    • You want a device and headphones that support aptX low latency. Failing that, there are BT devices which are sub-100ms (some as low as 50ms), but you need to check reviews for that data.

Or you can just use a wired pair with a USB-C to 3.5mm cable, and probably get better audio quality for less money.

    • Plantronics BB Pro/Pro 2. Using BB Pro for past couple of years and very happy with it. Supports apt-x and no lag noticed at all. Excellent audio quality, great battery and one of the best in bluetooth range. Try it once and see if you like the sound signature.

  • Anyone knows how this compares to the Taotronics BH060?

    • I'd like to find out too.

15 hours seems pitiful for that price. $50 for 48 hours run time and good sound quality with ANC on these

Qc35s are more than 3x the price and have only 20 hours battery. So your comment confuses me.

      • Yes but anything in this price range doesn't have the build or ANC quality of Bose or Sony. That's what you're paying for. More ANC processing means higher battery consumption.

    • 50hrs is with the ANC turned off (see comments). At least halve that for ANC.

  • Looks like oem/taotronic but i do like the leather bag tho

  • Do these come with USB C or Micro USB charge option?
Thinking of getting one but trying to keep all my regular devices to use only USB C for charging

    • Got one and it is USB C Charging. The build quality is great. Will test it out after charging

  • Anyone else buy this?

I bought one and have found it's build quality and comfort to be quite good, considering it's price point. All the inclusions also give it more value. However I've found that listening to music with ANC on seems to degrade the music. To my ears, it sounds quite a bit better with ANC deactivated. I can also report that the ANC was pretty effective at markedly reducing the sound of my ultra noisy range hood.

This is my first pair of headphones with ANC, are all of them like that?

Finally one last question, is it normal for the ANC to not shut off when you turn off the headset?

    • I bought one and was wondering about the ANC myself.
Aldi are now about to sell a cheaper headphones with the same features as the premium.
The only difference I can tell is it doesnt include a carry case and airline adaptor.

      • Not quite the same feature set. The $39 incoming special is a set of plain BT headphones. They don't have Active Noise Cancellation.

I bought them and returned them after a couple of days.
    1. The ANC produces a hissing sound (white noise). It's a low volume hissing sound, but it shouldn't be there. Mind you, I was in a quiet environment.
    2. The ANC is not the best, which is a given for this price point, but since it is marketed as a noise-canceling headphone, that's how I review it. Comparing with Sony's WH-1000XM3 headphones, the difference is night and day. Of course, the price point is not the same at all. I wasn't expecting a Sony quality noise canceling abilities, but where it fails was with the hissing sounds and that when you turn your head, the NC will differ with quality.
    3. Overall sound quality and ANC is off, was quite good but stronger on the bass side.
    4. Battery life is 15 hours, which is a weak point. With ANC it's about half of that.

They are ok for some people, but I had different expectations from it. It will suit people with different expectations. Overall Aldi has some great offers.

    • Pretty much the same feedback from me. I returned mine today.

I found that the ANC was underwhelming and produced the same faint sound you experienced.

The case was also a little baffling as you could only have it stored flat not in compact with the ears folded in for a smaller footprint.

That said the build quality felt solid enough
