This offer appeared on my amex plat charge and there is no way I would meet this. I would suggest for everyone to check their offers as I think it may be tailored to different cards.

DETAILS
Save offer to your eligible Card, then spend $25,000 or more, in one or more transactions, at any American Express accepting business between 16/03/2020 and 14/04/2020 to get 6,000 Membership Rewards Bonus Points. Limited to first 100,000 Cards. Exclusions apply.

OFFER TERMS
Offer is valid for spend billed to your Card Account between 12:00AM (AWST) 16/03/2020 and 11:59PM (AWST) 14/04/2020. Offer is valid for payments made online, in-app or in-person at any business that accepts American Express.
Offer is valid for spend on the saved Card and any Additional Cards attached to this Card Account. Offer is not valid for spend on any other Cards you might hold.
Offer is valid once per Card to which the offer is saved. Offer is unique to this Card Account and is not valid for any other Cards you might hold.
Offer is not valid for spend which does not earn Membership Rewards points (including, but not limited to: Card fees and charges, cash advances, balance transfers). For more information, please refer to the Membership Rewards Terms and Conditions.
If you spend in a currency other than Australian Dollars, your spend will be converted to Australian Dollars on your Card Account. You must meet the offer spend requirement in Australian Dollars to be eligible for the offer.

    my spending on amex has been shifted to other richer rewards points generating CCs since amex aexed the ratio last April….and for 25k spending I will put on other CCs unless it will be all from these 3x points shops ( plat edge card perspective)

      No such thing as 3x any more on Plat since the brave new world.

      I still spend on Plat mostly, 1.125 SQ points beats 1.25 VA or QF on the direct earn cards.

    My wife has $1300 spend for 1000 points.. Mine is $2300 spend for 3000 points.. But your reward is not proportionate to spend amount

    6000 points is only 3000 flight points (for plat charges) - this is one of the most embarrassing promotions I've even seen from Amex
