I would say that about quilton. That stuff is utter rubbish

      • +1

Highly unpopular opinion, I reckon. The Kleenex comment though, absolutely bang on.

  • Everyone has ONE ass

    • That is an astute observation worthy of a Nobel prize

  • -1

Sorry this is not a deal…just because it comes in stock

  • +3

    I hate negative vote caps.

  • +5

Not a deal. It's $14.95 for 48 rolls at Aldi next week.

    • +3

Not Kleenex brand. And thanks for reminding everyone to avoid going to Aldi on Wednesday morning. Also I didn't know Aldi delivered.

      • +5

Lol why are you getting so defensive bud? A lot of people clearly don’t think price jacked, poor quality TP is a bargain. Just deal with it.

        • +4

I don’t think you know what price jacking is because this isn’t price jacking at all.

  • Practice intermittent pooping, reduce need of toilet paper.

    • or people need to learn the "pour water with right and wash with left" technique then they can go without toilet paper during these times of hardship.

      • what

        • exactly lol

    • +3

      Who does continuous pooping?

      • Me after Taco bell

FFS, even online people still hoard…

  • Yesterday, my Coles had a security guard on duty all day (normally comes only in the evening) in order to prevent conflict at 2 pm when the next shipment would arrive.

What I don't understand is why at this stage (it's been empty every day over the past week and they've already imposed limits) they don't have a reservation system in place like they do in department stores (which is of more use to the elderly than lining up at 6 am). It would be good to have a system in place should a real crisis ever beset us. They've already spent most of their toilet paper profits on security.

    • Bought a pack of eight rolls today at my local Aldi. They were limiting one pack port customer, and everything looked quiet and normal - no long lines, no fight, everyone could buy their pack easily. Definitely no security guard in sight.

It's a bargain they put up the price on toilet paper? This place has changed…

    • +3

      ^^This guy knows….

      Amen brother

    • -1

The fact it sold out with over 2,000 clicks within 15 minutes, and deal made it to front page says otherwise.

      shrugs

      😉

      • +8

Not really man, people are panic buying this shit everywhere.

        Sure doesn't mean they're getting bargains…

      • over 2,000 clicks within 15 minutes, and deal made it to front page

Lol imagine taking your Ozbargain account this seriously

        • Been meaning to ask you for a while now.

Can I borrow your DP for a Messenger group? I got a mate that looks just like the guy in your pic that's obsessed with the white ultra sugerfree Monster drink 🤣

          • +1

@cute as duck: Hahah go for it mate! It’s not even my picture anyway… google ‘30 year old boomer’

        • i agree the dog brand stuff disintegrates just with a glance. Crap TP

    • They didn’t though that’s the point.

    • This place has changed…

      Thanks to Coronavirus :D

  • +1

Hopefully one good thing out of this pandemic is people realising how silly toiler papers are, there are much better alternatives

  • Just use water to clean your bum, better for our environment, less chopping on our forest. Japanese people have been doing that for the past 25 years already.

  • glad to know the metamucil works as people need tissue to wipe

  • But then i can't have a fist fight in the isles of Coles or Woolies over the last rolls.

  • +1

    Slightly more expensive

Well said. Not a bargain. $19 at Big W

    • +2

I normally buy from Big W but on this occassion not in stock in Big W according to stock levels. All I see is a sea of reds for entire Victorian state don't know about other states.

      Not showing delivery option either.

Anyway the deal is expired we can all move on, won't post anymore TP deals. I simply posted it because I get alerts when in stock and on this occasion I actually needed TP thought I'd help out the OzB community.

      • +5

There is enough TP if people don't act like animals.

        • That's true. I did my weekly grocery shop yesterday at Aldi at 8:30am and there were easily over 100 people. As soon as the shutters went up someone yelled "Charge!!!!"

          It's ridiculous.

        • +1

Don't want to be pedantic but there would be infinitely more TP if people acted like animals and didn't use TP to wipe up at all.

    • I saw that too. But no stock near me in NSW :(

Toilet paper is more valuable than gold right now !!!!!!

  • +1

Thank you Op just ordered 20. Hope the shortage will be over soon

    • +1

The more you order the sooner the shortage will be over.

  • -1

    coronavirus!!!

  • +5

At this rate we are going to be wiping our ass with tea towels and tortillas because of all these stupid F-tards panic buying TP. It demonstrates the shockingly low intelligence level of the general population at the moment. It makes you wonder what these pieces of crap will do when there is a real pandemic with a much higher death rate.

  • People need to relax. Both borders and the people that keep complaining. Both sides make this worse by bringing more attention to it.

  • how cheap is their INcomplete clean range though?

  • If everyone practices this concept there is no need for panic buying :

    https://imgur.com/gallery/E6qHW

One pack should last a looooooooooooog time.

  • Quick buy more TP because everyone else is!

At least if you get diarrhea you can wipe your arse until it burns but at least you'll fee like you're in control!

  • +2

Fingers just go through this stuff, quilton is much better

    • -2

      Disagree. Quilton is trash

      • +2

come on bois, dont fight in the supermarket aisle. We just need the bloody TPs, weak or not.

      • Didn't neg you but love the passion of OzB about their loo paper

        • +1

Just offering a counter opinion :P

  • +1

At least we’ll know which of our friends were d-bags and panic hoarded. Bags of TP isn’t easy to hide!

  • +1

Available again (ships in 1-2 days).

    • +1

Nope. Gone, cant add to cart.

      • +1

Sold out again before I was able to edit my comment

        • -1

Dont accuse me for NOT downvoting you.

          Edit: Now you can.

        • My finger slipped, twice 🤷🏻‍♂️

  • I'm an Ozbargainer, I refuse to buy above $19. If I run out of TP, so be it.

    • +1

You can use plant base leaves.

      Or 3 seashells.

  • Its coronatime!!

  • Just get a smart toilet seat:

    • is it easy to install or do you need to call a plumber?

  • -1

might want to wear gloves if using kleenex.

  • +1

Safer than going to a supermarket and risk being assulted…

  • Turns out $22.43 was the correct price, just got a refund on my order

  • Back in stock if anyone missed out on the Quilton stock
