Lost Kogan Monitor VESA Mounting Screws

As the the title suggests, I may have thrown out the vesa mounting screws that came with my kogan 1440p 27inch 144hz monitor (https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/513148). Was wondering where I might be able to find replacements.

EDIT: Kogan support sent me these pictures as reference https://imgur.com/a/YH34B6a

    • thats what i wouldve though at first but it turns out the kogan ones are standoff screw mounts of 2 differing lengths (similar to those used as standoffs for motherboards but much longer).

    They're just normal screws.

    Buy at Bunnings or similar.

Be careful about screwing them in as you do not want to press against internal parts. Use washers if necessary to avoid touching internal parts.

  • Can you take a photo of the back your monitor?

We need to know if you need a nut, or a machine thread screw.

    • Sorry for the late response. Here it is:

      • If I were you, I would take your monitor and the monitor mount to Bunnings, and ask a team member to help you open up some packets of screws to find the corresponding thread size that matches the female shaft of the monitor. Such as M4/M6 etc.

There is a slight difference in the depth of the monitor mounting shafts, based on the moulding and the recess of the monitor, but that can be easily accommodated with some washers.

So, say you need an M4 machine thread screw, and in order to go from monitor to mount it needs to be 30 MM (for the deeper screw), you just measure the difference between the two screw holes in the monitor, and add that depth in washers on the back of the mounting bracket.

If you went to Bunnings someone should be able to sort you out.

I’m not trying to make it sound trivial, I know it’s a bit confusing, but based on what I can see it shouldn’t be too tricky to sort it.

If that doesn’t make any sense I can prob draw a diagram to explain what I mean, or try and explain it better if I’m not making sense.
