Been a while since we've had a deal on this micro SD card. Price has been cheaper but this is the best price at this time.

Definitely been cheaper before but this deal at least is accessible to non eBay plus members.

How does this compare to the Sandisk Ultra 128GB

    • This one should be better.

    • +2

SanDisk Ultras have relatively slow write speeds - this Samsung is much faster. Not really an issue if you're just using it for storage, but if using in a GoPro or camera definitely grab this instead of the Ultra.

Write speed is definitely a big factor for me. I'll probably get this then. Good price considering non-ebay plus + bad exchange rate right now.

        • I use a mix of SanDisk and Samsung cards. My SanDisks are all 'Extreme' or 'Extreme Pro' series, which is what these Evo Plus are roughly equivalent to. Buy either/or depending on price, one handy thing with the SanDisk cards is the usually come with a 1 year license of 'Rescue Pro Deluxe' data recovery software, which has come in handy for me a couple of times.

  • Missing the eBay deal buy 1 get 1 for free.

  • Would this be suitable for a Switch Lite?

    • Yes, we use this size in all our switches. Depending on who it’s for, kids are fine; whilst I’m looking at upgrading to the 256+

  • Thanks, dealbot.

    WATCH OUT

    https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/524595

the same seller selling 256GB version of it on amazon. and it is claimed as fake.

I do not recommend to buy this

The originally seller was Flashforwardtech but it looks like they are now coming from weird new accounts (and the report of it being fake was from the seller "fcngfedr", they are now being sold by "tyutyty" a brand new account with 0 feedback).

Flash Forward Tech on eBay looks legit. They've sold many thousands of SD cards and the account in 7 years old. (Of course they could still end up with, and sell on fakes. But it's not a 0-rep seller like the amazon listing)

        still watch out

Flash Forward Tech's item page the i mentioned above (amazon) Has a lot of claims they are selling fake SDs with photos of speed check and many are saying it's unreadable in few days

my rule of thumb is usually original made in Korea, fake made in China. There are heaps of fakes being sold on eBay.
