Self Service Credit Voucher Available For Select Scoot Flights

With immediate effect, Scoot has launched a self-service refund option on our website for all customers with bookings made on or before 15 March 2020, for travel dates until 31 May 2020. As the COVID-19 outbreak continues to develop globally and more travel advisories are put in place by governments, we understand that customers are grappling with uncertainty and wish to change their travel plans.

Scoot has therefore enhanced our “Manage My Booking” portal on our website to include a self-service refund button (refer to linked video for a demonstration), which will allow customers to submit their refund requests online at their convenience. The refunds, in the form of Scoot travel vouchers, will be processed within 30 business days. Customers who booked their flights through third-party booking channels or travel agencies are advised to contact the relevant channel or agents for assistance.

Just announced - I was able to successfully refund my flight even though I was rejected 4+ times by their call centre. Got my voucher code issued within a few hours of requesting the refund via my booking portal

    I received the SMS from Scoot as well. What if I don't want travel credit, is there any way to get money back?

      Contact your credit card provider. Because of travel restrictions and VIC state emergency, it can be disputed.

    Now they tell me… I took advantage of the free change of date change and re booked for October. This would have been much better.

    If boarders are closed, I wonder if they will be forced to offer refunds. And providing this is a way of securing the re-booking.

    Are the voucher codes transferable? That is, can I sell it?

    Doesn't work on my booking because my outbound flight was cancelled. Gonna have to call… wait didn't they close their call centres…

      If your outbound flight was cancelled they have to refund you or offer a credit as how are you supposed to take the return flight if you didn't get to fly there in the first place (due to their decision.)

      Don't sweat. They aren't that bad!

        Sorry. I meant return flight. That leg was cancelled and refunded, I’m trying to get a refund for MEL-SIN.
