    Thankyou!

I can confirm this also works for prepaid plans, I got another 2 months on my 20gb lightroom photography plan, was due to expire in September, now expires in November.

(I'm on a pre-paid lightroom 20gb plan, so I don't have any monthly fees - I just buy via ebay once a year with a 20% off code normally).

    • Thanks, can confirm it also works on the 12-month student prepaid cards too.

  • Worked for me as well.

  • Sweet I’m on photography plan with 2 months remaining. Allowed me get free 2 months.

  • Legend. Thanks!

  • Doesn't work for teams :(

  • Can confirm it works, cheers!

Doesn't work on education plans either ;(

    • +1

Which is harsh since I am paying $15.39/yr :P

      • How?

        • Work for the Department of Education.

          • @Munki: I am a student working at uni and I get unlimited access to Adobe CC. Anyone working at a uni ask them if it’s free

            • @I Smell Pennies: Kids who go to school have access to free Adobe CC too. It's an enterprise agreement we have with Adobe. Fine for personal/educational use, but I'm not sure what the deal would be if you were using it for work. I imagine it'd be hard for them to police anyway.

              • @Munki: Oh, are you saying all school children with an .edu email here can get free Adobe CC? if so, that's amazing!

                • @I Smell Pennies: Sorry this is for NSW. I cannot speak for other states/territories. In NSW, those who have access to an @education.nsw.edu.au account are eligible. They can get it through here: https://nsw-students.onthehub.com/WebStore/Welcome.aspx

                  • @Munki: No need to do this any more for NSW teachers and students. Just download and install the creative cloud app and when logging in simply type in your work/school email and it will activate Creative cloud for you.

                  • @Munki: I think this is for high school students in NSW public schools, not for primary students any more. See here which says:

NOTE: For students in Kindergarten through year 6, access to Adobe Creative Cloud is only available at school on school-owned Windows and Mac devices. K-6 students are able to use Adobe Creative Cloud Express via their department user account, both at school and at home.

      • $15.39? You're getting ripped off mate…

      cries in Lebanese

  • you are a gentleman and a scholar OP!

  • Saved $153.98, thanks OP!

    • +3

You should haggle with support and stick with $43.99 a month

Each time they increase the price I chat with support and get it reduced to $43.99

Been that way for 3 years now

      • Oh thanks for letting me know! I did that once a couple years back but never thought to do it again!

      • I also have this price. did you do this to get the 2 months free, too?

  • Thanks OP. Just saved over $100 for Acrobat Pro and InDesign

  • I have tried on the annual monthly prepaid plan. It worked. The next payment dated shifted 2 months. Thanks op.

    • Do you actually have to cancel to get it or does it exit out of the cancellation from that point?

      • Just go through their work flow (you will see once you start the process), the 4th stage give you the offer, the 5th and final stage is where it actually get cancelled.

  • Worked for me. Big threat that they'd charge me $150 early cancellation, but then I still got the 2 months free.

  • My wife signed up recently and paid $170?
If I go through this process for her, we will get an extra 2months?

    Is that correct?

    • Yes. Judging by the comments made above for prepaid plans, you get an extra 2 months.

    • +1

I'm on an annual plan of $170 and went through the cancellation procedure. Once you get to the third step it would give you some options trying to keep your business. Try hitting the chat and explaining that these are tough times and you can't afford to continue it due to all thats happening etc. After about 10 min in the chat with someone and looking at my profile, they offered me an 3 months additional subscription which I was "apparently" entitled to.

GL and see how you go with that

      • Nice idea! But my due date isn’t for ages away. Maybe will try when it’s due and I remember.

        • mine is due in December 2020 and they extended it to March 2021, no harm in trying ;)

  • Anyone tested whether this will work with the student subscription and will it affect the monthly student rate after the 2 months?

    • Comment above says it didn't work and I'm not willing to risk it.

    • +1

It works with student subscription as well. I’ve got 2 months free in this way 2 months ago.

    • +2

You get 2 months free on your current subscription and after that you will revert back to your monthly student rate.

    • It worked for me on the 43.99 student rate. I don't see why it wouldn't work at the cheaper intro student rate.

    • can confirm that it works on the cheaper student plan!

    • I did the following last week and it worked for me:
Was on $25mth (roughly) student annual plan,
Went to cancel because I have used this trick before.
      They dropped me to $21.
After 24 hours I went back in to cancel,
I than used the 2 months free offer.
I also got another 30 days free by opening up my GeForce Experience Desktop App (I have an RTX2060). Was able to apply this to my existing account!
So 3 months free (not the first time I have used 2 months free either) and a reduced rate.
Once my free months are up, I can almost guarantee I can do the 2 months free again!

  • So good! Thank you!

This is actually the second time I've done this lol, about 18 months ago I went to cancel my plan and they offered me this. I guess it worked because I stayed subscribed after that.

  • Cheers bruv, just got the work account a $150 saving

    • -1

      Look at my response

You can get it down to $43.99 If you haggle with chat support

  • Will this work for new accounts?

  • Nice! I did it and shared it with my work colleagues.

For those wondering, it delays your renewal by an additional two months.

  • Thanks OP!

  • In previous years they've upped this to 3 months by simply asking in chat (if someone wants to give it a go)

    • +1

Then I risk them discovering that I'm not actually my son, which is the student email I'm using atm.

Do yourselves a favour and check out the Affinity Suite of products. I’m a graphic designer and have moved my workflow over to Affinity and haven’t looked back. Plus it gets you out of Adobe’s awful subscription pricing and bloated apps.

    • Thanks will check it out!

  • This is awesome. Thanks OP!

  • Thank you. I'm paying $44 a month now after a first student year, seems like they fixed the big which lets you pay 70% off indefinitely.

    • Yeah, they offered me that as well. If you look at my latest comment on here, there is a "hack" per say I just did

  • Thanks OP. I didn't realise that even with a special trial code I used earlier, I have to manually cancel the membership still.

Extra 2 months is good. Need to remember to cancel 2 months later.

  • Legend! Thanks OP!

  • Saved $150.

Will spend it all on toiletpaper :-)

  • +1

Another hack, which I only did it once, but I am not going to risk it a 2nd time.

If you got a first year student price (21.99pm), if you can't renew the student price due to whatever reason or they offered you $44 pm as $21.99 is the first year intro price or whatever. Just sign up with another account under a new email and cancel your current account, they don't check that you're a student for new customers.

I have a adobe portfolio and I emailed the transfer team to transfer my portfolio from my old account to the new account. They did it and they don't check the account details.

Now I will pay 2 years of $21.99 instead of the 2nd year being $44

  • Work for me @21:10, thanks OP.

  • Thanks.

  • Worked for me too, thanks OP

  • Worked, thanks OP :) !!!!!!!

  • +2

I tried this and went all the way up to confirm cancellation and it didn’t offer anything.

    • Same for me on an annual 20GB Photography plan.

  • You can get a whole year for $220 - ALL apps.

    • is it legal?

      • I got a similar message. Seems legit.

Thanks for your order from software.com.au

  • Just updated my student account to this, perfect :)

  • Thanks!

    https://account.adobe.com/plan for the lazy.

  • Didn't work for my working from home Education subscription, but yeah since I only paid about $15 for the year, not much of a loss…

  • Worked for me! Teacher's discount, but for a number of years now, so saving $43.99x2.

  • +1

I love that Adobe can't know how many offer take-ups are coming from Ozb, because one needs to visit the site manually rather than a trackable clickthrough. Muahahahaha.. oh wait, they are still screwing me of my hard earned money while avoiding corporate tax… oh well. 2 months of RATM.

  • Weird. Just tried, but it's saying all apps commitment is only $175.47 per year. Though the last two yearly invoices are $527
    http://prntscr.com/rinuht

    Anyone else seeing this?

    • Yup, I'm seeing that as well. Can't recall whether it was before I tried cancelling or not though. In the end it didn't offer me 2 months even right til the last step.

    • OK, don't get too excited… it's an error, but it is only upon renewal you will be shocked to find out about it once you see you are paying your regular price… but support will pretend you are crazy and will not honor the deal…

…And all they will offer is to cancel your whole plan without exit fee…

Tip: Take a screenshot, but support won't support you in any case

Happened to me and they didn't believe it.

  • I can not find any button or way to change or cancel my plan! ad blockers off and all that, I can manage payment details but nothing more.
Where have they hidden the button?!?!

Edit: Ok strangely 30mins later and the buttons are being shown again.. maybe they've had some issues with a lot of people doing it.
    2 Free months! Woo!

  • Seen a couple of posts on facebook photography pages, where talking to them on live chat can get you a 90 day period.

  • Wow - I'm on pre-paid plan so essentially 2 months free for doing nothing.

    • Also worked on the Adobe All Apps plan, which I got for free for a month through Nvidia GeForce Experience. So 3 months free on that if you go through Nvidia…

  • Thank you very much. It does work but you can also take a chance of chatting with the help and they can do even better. I paid $76.94 per month for last 12 months. They offered me $28.92 per month for next 12 which was way better compared to just 2 months free. Give this a try guys!!

    • Yeah I'm on the $44/m plan and reducing it to $22/m for a year (a saving of $264) is way better than two months free ($88).

  • Worked for me OP! Cheers. :)

    • Wait you still need to pay as a staff?

  • I'm on Photography plan (20GB) Annual plan, paid monthly - A$14.29/mo and the 2 months free offer isn't poping up for me on review page when I'm canceling my plan. Any one give me a hand what I am doing wrong?

    • Did you go through the cancellation process? You need to go through that process, after the survey and just before the very last step, Adobe will offer you to stay for another 2 months.

      • Pretty sure I made it to last step with red cancel button. Either way, I asked support and I got my 2 months.

  • Thanks OP. Much appreciated.

  • I spoke to support and they only offered a discounted monthly cost which was still more expensive than a prepaid card from Officeworks. No offer for an additional 2 months.

  • Worked for me just now, thanks!

  • That’s so good! Definitely hoping onto this since I need Lightroom

  • Sweet. I was on the student plan anyway, but free money is free money.

  • +3

I tried and it just fully cancelled without offering the months free…sigh.

    Edit: Education discounted plan.

  • Does this work for Lebanon plans?

    • I hope our plan renews for another year 😂

  • +1

The monthly plan is somewhat misleading, it's akin to instalments of annual plan. It says cancel anytime in large fonts, but early cancellation fee hidden in T&C.

The Photography plan (PS + LR) is $14.29/month, early cancellation fee is 50% of the remaining months.

Tried to cancel last months, 2 months free was offered, will see if the 2 months are included in the remain months, or they extend the renew date by 2 months.
