    I don't understand why these are so expensive nowadays?
    I paid from $60 to $80 each for a few different pairs back in 2012. I can't think of any other products that has increased in price so much in 8 years.

      Back when the Aussie dollar was 1:1 with the US, everything made overseas was really cheap. I think our terrible exchange rate is one of the causes. (Similar increases have occurred with other hiking and outdoor gear brands)
