Anyone know an alternative to Audible for Star Wars audiobooks? I've had an on-and-off account with Audible but find them pricey. Nothing available on Scribd.

Just buy one book, listen to it refund it. Rinse and repeat.

Only a handful of Star Wars audio book titles on Scribd, like the Trawn trilogy which I'm sure you've read already.
"Star Wars: Thrawn Trilogy - Legends" on Scribd. Check it out: https://www.scribd.com/audiobook/429860186

      • Twice! Once as a kid and again as an adult. Enjoyed the new Thrawn books too.

        Thanks for sharing though 👍

  • Awesome, thanks!

New users can use the referral link to get a free two-month subscription. Not sure if the CC info is required.

    • it doesn't appear it stacks? can't get 3 months free.

  • how does the catalog compare to audible?

    • Scribd has a huge library but misses out on certain publishers and new titles. Titles get added or removed over time. I can't find the exact number but I'd say there are 100,000+ audiobooks.

Audible and Scribd both offer an extensive library to their listeners, but Audible is the clear winner here because if offer basically every book (for a price). If you are determined to listen to a specific book that just hit the shelves, Audible is probably right for you. https://www.chattersource.com/article/scribd-vs-audible

  • Useful to note that even trial period subscribers can get access to Scribd perks, current list has free access to following for 6-12 months.
