Logitech MK220 Wireless Keyboard and Mouse Combo $19 (RRP $39) at Harvey Norman

60

Since more of us are working from home, and are likely have kids at home at some stage in the future, I was looking at some reasonable keyboard/mouse combos. Was looking through lots of reviews at OW and HN, and more importantly my own experience of one of these in the house at the moment.

Was about to pull the pin on the MK220 for $39 at JB, then like any good OzB'er ferreted around the googleverse for a better price.

For $19, this is a functional, quiet and effective basic setup for your laptop if you're stuck working (or being educated) at home.

Just be aware the arrow keys are half size

Not the cheapest. Been as low as $13.30 at TGG & JB. $15 @ HN. Has a 24-month keyboard (2xAAA) and 5-month mouse (2xAA) battery life.

Also not using the mini universal Logitech USB Unifying Receiver. USB receiver is 3cm long so sticks out a bit further.

  • If you can wait for the next sale, get the MK270R. Historic low was $17!!!

  • I just bought this last Sunday for $16 at JBhifi, then returned it… while the keyboard is quite slim, I found the keys are too squashed to use comfortably (especially up/down)
