The reward is exclusively for Nintendo Switch Online members.
Once a player on an island has downloaded this reward, the other players on the island can trade for the "Nook Inc. silk rug" item at the Nook Stop in Resident Services (provided they have enough Nook Miles).
Notes:
- You need to have progressed far enough through the game in order to use miles at the Nook Stop.
- Even if other players on the island do not have Nintendo Switch Online memberships, they can still trade for the item. If other players cannot trade, please get the player with the reward to start the game and try again.

    maybe split a family membership with friends? there's also lots of people on here who are making groups to get a family membership, works out to only a few bucks a year i think

  Why is there still no guide how to get this?? still cant get this. Not working for me not sure what im doing wrong.. Help??

    go to the Nook Shop terminal (like an ATM machine!) then choose "Redeem Nook Miles" -> scroll down from "everything" tab then you will see your Nook Inc. silk rug (which you have to pay for in game for 600 miles).
    I am not 100% sure if this only appears after you claim it from Nintendo account, maybe someone without Nintendo Switch Online can kindly confirms?
