An Apology to OzBargainer's

As promised i have come up with some cracking deals. This is my apology to you. They are nowhere near as good as the Amazon deals but I challenge you to find anything that gets close that isn't stolen (i know that this is the exact point that you Bargainers send your minions out to find them!)

The Duracell Procell i have are the brand new General Purpose. They have been upgraded and I tested it to confirm that it wasn't a "marketing" upgrade.

Disclaimer: Varta High Energy and Varta Energy sold at Bunnings are not the same product! The test on whatcell only compares them in one discharge range and does not test them at a higher discharge rate. We are doing this test ourselves after we finish testing the current Procell intense and then i will post my findings.

  UPDATE ON ORDERS!!!

  Sorry again, Ozbargainers! I now have a supply issue with the AA batteries. I’ve been working remotely due to the COVID19 virus, and before launching my first apology battery deal, I wanted to ensure that I had enough stock to meet the anticipated demand. Believe me when I say that I didn’t want a second nightmare caused by taking orders without the necessary stock to back them up!

  So, I arrived Monday morning, all geared up to start processing the 500+ orders that I received, which by the way is over two months’ worth of usual online order volume for us! I go over to my Procell storage bay, and find an empty pallet where my AA batteries should be. I then check my system again, sure enough, it tells me there are 10,000+ in stock. Upon further investigation, it turns out someone ticked a wrong box when creating a previous claim on a supplier and the system added an extra 10,000 non-existent AA batteries to our stock levels.

  Trying to calm myself down I think to myself “OK, this is still not an issue as we have 150,000 AA batteries due on Monday or Tuesday this week, and I have enough orders without AA batteries to process in the meantime”. I immediately call Duracell’s logistics provider, and they say they will get back to me. After several phone calls, I finally got the word yesterday afternoon that they don’t have our stock available because it is delayed due to COVID19! Time to panic….

  I promised to be transparent, so I will continue to be transparent. COVID19 is not the cause of us being out of stock and COVID19 is not the cause of Duracell logistics not having the stock there for us. A staff member user error and me assuming that the system stock level was correct, is the cause for our initial out of stock problem.

  So what can I offer to make this right?

  I have arranged to upgrade all current orders of the Procell to the Procell Intense High Drain batteries free of charge. The Intense batteries are Duracell’s new High Drain Procell, and they have just landed so you will be the first to use them in Australia.

  I don’t have enough in stock to fulfil all orders today but the ones I have ordered in be here on Friday. If I get them Friday I will get most of them processed over the weekend and the rest Monday and Tuesday of next week.

  If the above offer isn’t satisfactory for you, I will refund the order in full, or if you have ordered other items, I can refund just for the Procell AA’s and send the rest of your order out. Please understand that I can’t send part orders now, and then the AA’s separately when they come in, as it is not financially viable with the shipping costs.

  If the AA intense upgrade is a suitable solution, you do not need to do anything as this will be automatically done. If you want a refund or part refund, please email me! Make sure to include your order number which starts with 3000 and also your name, phone number and email used if you don’t know your order number. [email protected]
