  • I know you have put when the time and date of the last update, but can you put some info about the actual age of the data feed itself? It looks like the data you are using was updated yesterday, not today.

Apart from that, great site - well done.

I've checked the other site and the Aus numbers seem accurate. There's been another one that I followed that is a day behind. It's my understanding only confirmed numbers are being posted from health authority data. Will pass on thoughts to other team member looking at that section.

Of particular interest is the areas or spots that have been tagged as known CVT19 cases.

  • For "Status" (Layout/Priority)
    and "Cases by State" (Layout/Priority)

    Use Confirmed, Recovered, then Deaths.

Otherwise you naturally look at Deaths, then Recovered.

  • Numbers from health.gov.au are smaller. How come?

  • who would use it. health.gov.au is the only website people should be referring to.

    • It's an alternative based on info found from that source and takes in other information like twitter.

  • Monash IT :D

    • That would be it;)

  • If this data collection and presentation excites you, start looking into ArcGIS and the wonderful things that it can be used for. There's a pretty high demand for competent people with fresh ideas.

  • There's total tested figures on the site which is nice, but what about how many tested each day? Would be good to compare with the number of new cases each day (i.e. it could be that the number of cases is increasing simply because more tests are being conducted).

    • That might be an issue about getting that source of info. Will pass on.

  • Nice, in the confirmed column do you think the 2 asterix might be better placed after the title.
