Indeed, I think all but the last sentence can be scrubbed.

Good luck finding plastic takeaway containers now!

At 50% off, that's what their pancakes are really worth…..never was a fan.

          Savage lol

Was gonna post this deal. Keep in mind that the District Docklands, Eastland, Glen Waverley and Northland locations are temporarily closing. You also might want to add [VIC] to the title.

I went to the district store to claim the free birthday pancakes and the place was a ghost town. Surprised eastland and glen are closing as they seemed ok even recently.

District Docklands has never been real popular (the whole precinct) but the Pancake Parlour there is in a terrible position. Needed to be on the ground floor near the other restaurants. Looks like they are closing all restaurants that have indoor entrances. All the ones that are staying open I believe all have external entrances.

But District Docklands has external entrance, while unpopular at least it is much safer to go there for takeaway than Melbourne Central plus going into the CBD means PT or walking coz parking is eye-gougingly expensive.

@peanut48: You’re right. I think I got district Docklands and Melb. Central mixed up. Looks like in that case they kept Melb. Ctrl open because of the better location.

          • +2

@peanut48: I would've got takeaway from Docklands due to easy parking. Will definitely not make the effort to Melbourne Central.

I imagine people will buy the food from Melbourne Central and eat it (probably in big groups) in the food court.

On that note, I don't get the logic of leaving shopping centres open where big groups congregate yet closing other things.

Thanks OP! Just ordered two for take away :)

Will the $5 Friday pancakes become $2.50?

    • Nope, not valid with any other offers.

  • +3

Finally at a reasonable price, might actually be worthwhile going now.

Wow… just looked at the 'normal' pricing.

No wonder I never see this is company on OZB, it's one of the biggest rip offs around! They sell the most versatile and easy product to make at home yet it's priced for 3 x Pancakes at $16! Yikes even at $8 it's expensive. Would rather pay +$2 and grab a special fried rice or dumplings at that price.
