  • What brand are the actual units and can we get a quote on delivery without signing up?

      • Thanks mate…pardon my blindness for not seeing the brand

        • That webpage is incorrect as they are now being re-distributed in Australia and these are all new models with new refrigerant (R410a). Don't believe everything you read :)

        • Are they made in China by Chigo?

        • I very rarely do ;)

  • From the website

comes fully charged with R22 refrigerant

I thought that was supposed to be phased out by now?

    • Hi! Its actually R410a - I've updated the description :)

  • Is any way that customer can pick up?

  • just watch out with A/C as the upfront costs are just a very small fraction of what you will pay for the unit, - if you intend to operate it…
purchasing the correct reverse cycle unit will have a dramatic effect on your electricity costs. its more about efficencies than initial purchase costs.

    • Great advice wisc! I was an end user buyer about 2 years back and did a lot of research. It's very important to get the right size for the job - if it's too small it will always be flat out, and if you buy a great big one it will "short cycle" and unless its an inverter use more power than necessary.

Don't forget installation costs, same price for a 2.6 kw & 6.1 kw install, anywhere between 500 bux up

  • About same price on ebay…free pick up in Melbourne…

    http://shop.ebay.com.au/i.html?_nkw=Misakae

    • Thanks for your post.. I checked, their Prices are over 10% more and they do not deliver to other areas in Australia. 6.1 KW they sell for $650, we sell for $599. so even with delivery in melbourne we are cheaper delivered. Plus we deliver everywhere else :)

      • No worries. Do you know who the manufacturer of the units are?

        • I don't know as we are not the importer, but I have emailed the importer to ask and will let you know if they get back to me tonight but it is friday.

  • Not many ways to get a split system cheaper than this (plus 600ish for installation). But a risk with buying any split system from a retailer is if there is a fault, you can get tossed between the store, manufacturer and installer each claiming one of the others is responsible for fixing it.
