    … we are in an unprecedented global health crisis, entering into stages of lockdown, with all advice being to stay home. Not sure how this is helpful as we have no idea how long it will last. I would book direct with a hotel, not through any third part agent, if you had to.

    This is not good timing to promote travelling.

    I find that Agoda has a higher price when you click through a cashback website and at the end of the day the prices end up being the same whether you go directly through Agoda or through CR/SB. So I never bother with cashback when it comes to Agoda. Just sharing my experience!

      You are right. I discovered this once and had a complete headache trying to work out the permutations of reseller (e.g. Agoda), referrer (e.g. Cashrewards), and currency used.

      In any case, this is not likely a useful deal, unless you are booking for a year ahead (and even then there's risk).
